One of the best posts I’ve seen recently was a girl telling us about this awful friend of hers…

This friend called her fat.
Said her hip dips looked ridiculous.
Pointed out the fact she had cellulite on her legs.
This friend made sure she knew she had a double chin.

Surprise, the friend doesn’t exist.

That’s you and the narrative you feed to yourself about your insecurities.

Because you wouldn’t talk to your friend like that right?

So why talk to yourself like that?

Love yourself a bit better than that my girl, you’re worth more.. 🤍

With experience comes a lot of hindsight

And these are some of the ones I think are still quite up there with women that are trying to make moves on their fitness journey

Basically

Take it from a girl that’s been in the gym and doing this for 12 years now…

None of this stuff matters

All that matters is that you show up and give it your best

Us coaches can have a hard time with the old “you MUST eat more…”

So it was super important for me to get this on to show what can happen if you give up control and let your coach do what you hired them to do ✨

Gem always calls herself a “slow burner” but she’s cooked up something special with this 😮‍💨 Time really can be a beautiful thing when you learn to enjoy what’s infront of you and take it one day at a time which Gem definitely had to learn how to do throughout this process

Gem is consistent, determined, grateful and those are all qualities I see in women that end up completely changing their lives for the better

Not just that, but personally, she’s turned into one amazing friend and I’m so lucky to have had her in my life for the last few years, and hopefully many more 🫶🏼

One incredible bucket list goal to be ticked off in 2 weeks time for this one.. let’s f*king go you bad ass ❤️
