Morning all.

We received some sad news last night informing us that Leonard Shooter a former member of MBC passed away peacefully on the 24th of August at the Northern General Hospital in the Palliative Care unit, at the age of 95.

Len was a lovely man and a true Gentleman.

His funeral will be held on the 5th of October at 11.15am at Hutcliffe Wood.

We pass on our sincere condolences and kindest thoughts to Len’s family and friends.

We will once again be running our 32-person open singles competition which will take place on Sunday 27th September 2026 starting at 9.30am.

No home players allowed.

The merit has been approved by South Yorkshire and BCGBA.
Refreshments available all day.

Entry fee is £15.00, prize money which includes a Highest Break, will be as follows:
£250.00 - Winner
£150.00 - Runner Up
£75.00 - Semi Finalists
£25.00 - Quarter Finalists
£25.00 to Highest Break

Well done to our Tuesday night B team winning the Bingham Cup against Herdings at Bradway!

4 games finished and it’s a draw 67-67. One pair goes back on to 11 up and win 11-3 👏👏
