Thank you to everyone that helped to organise the event as well as all of those that helped out on the day whether it was starters, spotters, the half way house as well as the guys that helped out on course in the run up to the open. All the help was much needed and greatly appreciated. There’s too many to name individually, but I’m sure you all know who you are. Thank you again!

Unfortunately the Junior Open has been cancelled due to the weather.

We will rearrange for Next Sunday 6th of September! ⛳️

Please ensure you arrive in plenty time to get checked in and collect your score card etc.

We will have a starter on the first tee as well as a couple of spotters on the first hole to help get people moving as smoothly as possible ⛳️🏌️.

1 space has become available at 2 o’clock if someone would like to fill the space you can do so via the Scottish golf app! £15 entry, pay on the day at check in!

🔔A new bell has been installed at the rear of the 8th Green. 🔔

This has been put in place to help the pace of play but it also gives the group leaving the green a little peace of mind.

Please remember to wait until the bell has rang until you play on to the green. Also remember to give it a ding when leaving the green 🔔

A little reminder that the second is the same, please wait until the bell has went prior to driving to the green.

Earlier today 46 golfers competed for the Border Safeguard Quaich. It was Gogs Douglas that came out on top with a fantastic gross 75, less 10 for a Net 65 to win by 1 stroke ⛳️. Well done ! 🏌️

Twelve 2’s were made on the day splitting the pot which had been rolled over from our last Gents competition 💰.

Our Open is now fully booked !

If any members are playing together and could potentially car share to help save space it would be a great help!
