⛳ What a Fantastic Invitation Day! ⛳

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for this year's Drax Golf Club Invitation Day. It was wonderful to welcome so many members and guests for a day of great golf, friendly competition and fantastic camaraderie.

The standout achievement of the day was raising an incredible £429 through our Charity Challenge Hole, with proceeds being shared between our Captain's Charity, Macmillan Cancer Support, and our Lady Captain's Charity, Parkinson's UK. Thank you to everyone who took on the challenge and donated so generously.

A very warm welcome to all our members and guests joining us today for one of the most enjoyable days in the Drax Golf Club calendar.

Whether you're returning to play with friends or visiting us for the very first time, we hope you enjoy everything our course has to offer. From the warm welcome in the clubhouse to a day of friendly competition on the fairways, we hope you create lasting memories together.

Good luck to everyone competing in today's Better-Ball Stableford, and don't forget to support our Captain's and Lady Captain's Charities by taking part in the charity hole.

It was our pleasure to host the 5th event of the season yesterday for the Inter Blue zone clubs.

A huge well done to Masham for taking the win, just pipping us to the top spot by a single point. Congratulations also to Alan Pickard (Masham) for his top-scoring round of 35 points.

The league table is certainly shaping up to be an exciting finish, with Masham consolidating their lead. It looks like it will be a tight battle between Cave Castle and ourselves for 2nd place and that all-important qualification spot for the Team Championship at the Inter Finals Day, held at Romanby GC on 13th September.

NERGA 2026 2026 NERGA (15 to 28 Handicap Index) has 33 Clubs divided into four zones. Over 550 players will compete as individuals and within their Club team for a place at our Finals Day in September to become NERGA Club and Individual Champions.
