The TT on Wed 15th July will be the 10mile Drax, sign on @6:30pm for a 7pm start at Drax Sports & Social.

The Melbourne 25TT has been postponed until further notice.

Fastest overall was Jacob Leigh with a 20:52 but ride of the night must be Mike Jenic covering the course ion 22:09 on a road bike.

Course Record Alert!

Great conditions last night (and the attendance of a World Tour Pro) meant the record for the Drax 10 mile TT got updated. Netcompany Ineos' Connor Swift lead the riders home in an amazing 18:09 (33.06 mph).

Selby CC's Bart Dabek led home the road bikes in an impressive 23:33

A lovely evening ride on the tandems last night, heading out to Bishop Wood before enjoying a well-earned refreshment stop at The Castle Inn in Cawood, then returning to Riccall.

A big thank you to our pilots this week Ant, Howard, John and Simon, and to Ian, Lee and Kate for joiningas outriders. Your support helps make these rides possible and enjoyable for everyone.

Heaven via the Home Straight - Tockwith 50km (50:50@50) | Audax UK - The Long Distance Cyclists' Association Starting at Tockwith near York. A new route for 2026 that measures out at 52km. A ride on gentle terrain and quiet roads in the Vale of York. It was fantastic to welcome Brian back to Selby Tandems last night. As one of our blind stokers, Brian relies on the support and teamwork of a pilot on a tandem to enjoy the freedom and pleasure of cycling, making evenings like this especially rewarding.

A huge thank you to Lee Elvin, Ant Wass, Ian Harrison and Simon Hadlington for piloting the tandems this week, and to Kate Baxter, Jo Williams and John Hind for their support as outriders. Your time, encouragement and dedication help make cycling accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

Selby Tandems

Despite a wet start to the evening, the weather soon cleared and we enjoyed a lovely ride with Selby Tandems.

A huge thank you to Alan, Ant and Howard for piloting the tandems, and to Lee, Ian, Kate and John for acting as our outriders and helping to keep the group safe on the road.

Great company, plenty of smiles, and another enjoyable evening on two wheels. Looking forward to the next one!

Selby Tandems (part of Selby Cycling Club) is a friendly and inclusive cycling group that helps people enjoy the freedom and fun of cycling through tandem riding. Dedicated to making cycling accessible to everyone we support riders with
Visual impairments, disabilities or anyone who just likes to cycle socially. We meet every Wednesday in Riccall and enjoy relaxed rides of around 15 miles, taking in the local countryside while making new friends and sharing great experiences on two wheels.
