“Okay, so… are these two actually the same thing? 👀
This one is a stingray, and this one is a spotted eagle ray.
Stingrays are usually chilling on the bottom, hiding in the sand and looking for food. And that tail? Yeah… that’s where you’ll find the famous venomous barb. 😅
Spotted eagle rays are a little different. They spend more time swimming through open water, and those big fins make them look like they’re literally flying underwater.
Plus, obviously… look at all those spots! 😂
So basically, stingrays are the low-key bottom dwellers, while spotted eagle rays are out here doing laps and showing off.
Same family of animals, very different personalities. ”
