Think of your commitment to training like a dimmer switch.

Not an on/off switch. A dimmer.

Some weeks it's all the way up. Some weeks life happens and it comes down. That's completely normal! We would never tell you to stop everything!

But if the switch never gets turned up, the results won't come.

There will always be something happening. The question is where you want your switch to be and being realistic about when to turn it up and down for the results that you are after.

I asked my team this week what keeps them coming back to training.

Andy: the desire to be the best version of himself. And bigger shoulders than Meg.

Meg: that time in the week that's just hers. Being strong and fit for her little girl.

Jas: looking back to where she was two years ago and not wanting to waste that hard work.

Emma: training for her future self. For mobility later in life. Playing a long game.

Owen: so his body is never a reason he can't do something.

Me: the process. The feeling afterwards. The clarity. Just feeling like a better person.

There is beauty in the monotony. That's where everything actually happens.
