⛳️ WEE WONDERS CHAMPION VISITS NORTH CLIFF! 🏆
We were delighted to welcome 2 x Wee Wonders Champion George Rowell to North Cliff yesterday, as a guest of member Jack Pickering.
The boys first became friends earlier this year after meeting at the Wee Wonders Grand Final at Gullane Golf Club in Scotland, and it was fantastic to see them back out on the course together.
They played some fantastic golf in what were very challenging, strong winds, with George showing exactly why he is regarded as one of the best young golfers in his age group.
At just 8 years old, George plays off an incredible 13.5 handicap! 👏🏌️‍♂️
It was a brilliant opportunity for Jack to spend time on the course with George, learn from him and enjoy some great golf together.
Who knows… perhaps we’ll be watching the start of a future rivalry between these two! 😄
Great to have you at North Cliff, George — we hope to see you back again soon! ⛳️👏

A very enjoyable afternoon in our yearly match against Hickleton for the Centenary Cup… Captain Gareth’s team prevailed with a combined stableford score of 394 against Captain Brian’s Hickleton score of 381. The course was fantastic and great food and drinks. Big thanks to everyone involved in making the event happen
