Sawbridgeworth Cricket Club

The Sawbridgeworth Cricket Club Members’ Bar will be showing the football tonight and will be open from 6:00pm. ⚽🍻

Due to limited capacity, priority will be given to playing members. Social members are welcome, provided their membership has been valid since 1st July. (But limited space)

We apologise for any inconvenience, but as a members’ club we have to prioritise our members and space will be limited.

No training for any age groups this Sunday (12th July)

This is because we are hosting a league finals day which will see the top U11's teams from Herts playing to win that age group. For all those interested in coming along to watch and enjoy the sunshine, the bar will be open and there will be 3 games played from 10am 🏏

Saturday 27th June – RESULTS ✅

A simply fantastic weekend for the club with a clean sweep across all four teams 👊🏏

✅ 1st XI chased down 218 to secure a superb 6-wicket victory away at Redbourn

✅ 2nd XI put in a dominant display, bowling Frogmore out cheaply before wrapping up an 8-wicket win

✅ 3rd XI continued the winning feeling with a convincing 7-wicket victory away at High Roding

✅ 4th XI completed the perfect weekend with a strong 9-wicket win against Hoddesdon 💪

Maximum points secured and a full house of wins across the club 🔥🏏

Islands Vale CC vs Our Boys

One of our favourite fixtures of the season takes place this Sunday, and we’d love to see plenty of support from around the club.

The clubhouse will be open, the bar will be fully stocked, and our opponents will once again be providing their famous Caribbean tea for all players – always a highlight of this fixture.

For the players, the atmosphere is always electric, with strong support from around the boundary and a fantastic social occasion both on and off the field.
