🏁 Team Jake the Snake has officially arrived in California and is all set for the Catalina Water Ski Race this Saturday! 🇺🇸🌊

Barry Gibson and Jake Frame will be taking on the challenging 62-mile journey from Long Beach to Catalina Island and back.

🔥 The boats:
🚤 Barry Gibson – 28” Ravencraft
🚤 Jake Frame – 38” Fountain #23

Both will be competing in the Senior Men’s class.

🇺🇸 JAKE THE SNAKE – USA BOUND!

This time next week, we’ll be packing our bags and heading stateside! ✈️🌊

The whole Jake the Snake UK Water Ski Racing Team is travelling to the USA to take on the legendary Catalina Water Ski Race, starting 1st August 2026!

We’ve put in all the hours of training, the open sea runs, and the hard work – now it’s time to race. 🚤💨

Sunday at Saltash, Cornwall

From the first lap, we were racing hard in some tricky water conditions, going neck and neck with our championship rival. With 10 minutes to go, we had to dig deep and push even harder to take the lead.

In the end, we walked away with the race win 🏆

Those vital points could make all the difference in the championship battle. The fight continues. 💪🔥
