TWO DECADES OF BODYSLAMS: RING WRESTLING STARS MARKS 20 YEARS OF LIVE ACTION AT RADSTOCK’S WHISTY HALL

RADSTOCK, SOMERSET — Saturday, 10th October 2026 — Live professional wrestling returns to Radstock this October, marking a historic milestone as Ring Wrestling Stars (RWS) celebrates 20 continuous years of family entertainment at the town’s iconic Whisty Community Hall.

For two decades, Whisty Hall has served as a cornerstone venue for British professional wrestling in the Somer Valley. Since first bringing the ring to Walnut Buildings in the mid-2000s, the venue has welcomed generations of local fans through its doors—turning Saturday night wrestling into a cherished Somerset tradition where parents who cheered on their favourites twenty years ago now bring their own children to experience the ringside atmosphere.

On Saturday, 10th October 2026, RWS presents a special anniversary extravaganza featuring top stars from across the UK wrestling scene, hard-hitting heavyweight clashes, dynamic aerial match-ups, and fan-favourite ring action suitable for supporters of all ages.

“Reaching 20 years at Whisty Hall is an incredible milestone for everyone involved with Ring Wrestling Stars,” said Promoter Lewis Blain. “Whisty Hall has a character and an energy unlike anywhere else on our tour. The Radstock crowd is notoriously loud, passionate, and welcoming. Whether you’ve been coming since our very first event here or you’re experiencing live wrestling for the first time, this anniversary show is all about celebrating the community that has kept the ring canvas rocking for two decades.”

The anniversary card will feature a full evening of championship bouts and grudge matches, capped off with opportunities for fans to meet the performers, grab merchandise, and take commemorative photos inside the ring after the bouts conclude.

Results from Salisbury Slamdown in front of 400 RWS fans

Cameron Merchant became RWS West Country Champion after outlasting Hammerhead Smith Jr, Owen Swain, Rudi Root, Jax Bluejay and Sammy Phillips but he had Hayley Quinn help to win the last match. He then announced that he was joining House of Quinn

In a hard hitting street fight Cueball kept his RWS championship after putting Big D through a table

Eddie Kenway def Sam the Man in the Battle of the GIANTS he also ended up taking a blow from refereeing legend Mike Wakely

In a strap match Kiara touched all 4 corners to beat Sasha K with both taking huge hits from the strap

In his final match Tristian Hayes def Ki who was supported by Hayley Quinn. After Lewis Blain made a speech whilst Tristians trainers Clive Cannell and Pete Collins watched on

Finally Mike Wakely gave the traditional 10 bell salute to announce end of Tristians career.
