This weekend’s antics… 40km on foot in 30°C+ heat. 🥵☀️
What started as a training hike around our local area turned into one of the toughest physical and mental challenges I’ve put myself through.
The heat was relentless, my feet were covered in blisters, and around the 35km mark my arthritic knee started giving way. Every step became harder than the last,
I am now thinking…. How on earth am I going to complete 57km in September with hills thrown into the mix?
Something gives me a little hope though…
I didn’t actually think I was going to make it to 40km either.
It’s funny because along the way, it stopped being about how my body felt and became about what my mind was telling me. I kept putting one foot in front of the other. Not because it was easy, but because I refused to quit and I also had not allowing me to quit 😆.
It reminded me that our bodies will often tell us to stop long before we’ve reached our true limit. Sometimes the biggest battle isn’t physical, it’s the conversation we’re having in our heads.
The more I think about it, the more I have faith I can do it and this weekend gave me proof that I’m capable of more than I give myself credit for.
So if you’re ever doubting yourself, whether it’s starting your fitness journey, chasing a goal, or simply getting through a difficult season of life, remember this:
You don’t have to feel confident to keep going. You just have to take the next step.
One foot in front of the other. ❤️🥾
Sounds cheesy but it’s true! 🤣

I’ve got a little September update! 👋🏼
Firstly, my 12-Week Kick Start Programme is filling up fast, and I now only have two face-to-face spaces remaining.
📍 Tuesday at 9:30am
📍 Tuesday at 10:30am
These both start in the second week of September, and once they’re gone, they’re gone!
The other exciting news is that I’m officially launching my 12-Week Online Kick Start Programme! 🎉
This is perfect if you can’t make regular PT sessions, don’t live locally, or simply prefer to train in your own time.
You’ll receive the same level of coaching, accountability and support that my face-to-face clients receive, including:
✅ A personalised training programme delivered through my coaching app
✅ Nutrition guidance tailored to your goals
✅ Weekly check-ins and progress reviews
✅ Ongoing support and accountability throughout the 12 weeks
✅ Programme adjustments as you progress
The only difference is that your coaching is delivered completely online, giving you the flexibility to train when it suits you.
I’m opening this up to just 10 people for September, and if you secure your place before September, you’ll receive an Early Bird discount.
If you’ve been waiting for the right time to prioritise yourself, this is it.
Send me a message if you’d like more information or you’d like to reserve one of the remaining spaces. I’d love to help you get started! 💪🏼

Now excuse me while I stand directly in front of this fan for the next hour 😅🤣
Hi everyone,
I just wanted to jump on and let you know that I’ll have some one to one personal training slots available from September.
I’ll be offering 12 week coaching programmes designed to help you get back on track after the summer holidays.
Whether your routine has slipped, your motivation has taken a dip, or you simply feel like you’ve lost your mojo, these programmes are designed to help you rebuild healthy habits, regain your confidence, and start feeling like yourself again.
I know how easy it is to put yourself at the bottom of the priority list over the summer, especially when life gets busy. So, if September feels like the right time to refocus on yourself and you’re looking for support, accountability, and guidance, I’d love to help.
If you’d like more information or would like to reserve a slot, just drop me a message.

My 5yr old daughter wanted to join in, so we did some exercises together ❤️
I talk a lot about my struggles with hormones, brain fog, low energy, anxiety and the days when I really don’t feel like exercising.
Because the truth is, I don’t always feel motivated. Some weeks are harder than others (even being a personal trainer)
But what I want my daughter to see isn’t perfection.
I want her to see that even when things feel difficult, we can still show up for ourselves.
That looking after our bodies isn’t about punishment it’s about being strong physically and mentally and it’s something to be proud of.
Our children are always watching!!!
Every time we choose to keep going, we’re teaching them resilience.
So on the days when my hormones are all over the place and I don’t feel like doing much at all, I remind myself that I’m not just doing this for me.
I’m showing both my daughters what is possible. ❤️💪🏼
BIT OF A BORING POST BUT IF IT INSPIRES SOMEONE THEN IT MAKES ME HAPPY! 💛
27km training walk completed today 👣
In September I’ll be taking on a 57km ultra hike along the South Coast with a few of my bootcamp ladies 💪🏼
I think as mums, we’re so good at putting everyone else first.
But I am learning more and more how important it is to have something that’s just for us too, whether it’s a goal, a challenge or an adventure.
Just something that reminds us that we’re more than the school runs, packed lunches, and endless to do lists.
Maybe this is your sign to sign up for that challenge you’ve been thinking about???
You might just surprise yourself. 💛
10 reps of back squats… and this was just the beginning! 🥵🔥
This is called German Volume Training (GVT) it’s a training method that typically involves 10 sets of 10 reps using the same exercise and weight.
I’m not saying every woman in perimenopause should rush off and do 100 squats, and I definitely don’t think this style of training is something you need to do all the time.
What I am saying is this…
Perimenopause and menopause are not a reason to stop challenging your body.
As our hormone levels change, we naturally start to lose muscle mass, strength, bone density and metabolic efficiency. That’s exactly why resistance training becomes even MORE important.
Training methods like German Volume Training can:
✔️ Build and maintain lean muscle
✔️ Improve strength and resilience
✔️ Support healthy bones
✔️ Boost metabolism
✔️ Improve insulin sensitivity
✔️ Increase confidence in what your body is capable of
The key is listening to your body and choosing the right level of challenge for you. When you’re feeling strong, well recovered and motivated, pushing yourself can be incredibly empowering. On the days your body needs a little more support, it’s okay to adjust and train accordingly.
Too many women are told to slow down, do less and accept feeling weaker as they age.
I disagree.
Your body is asking for strength, not surrender.
Challenge yourself when it feels right. Recover well. Fuel your body. And remember that getting older doesn’t mean becoming fragile.
Who else loves a squat challenge? 👇🏼🔥
