Due to the forecast heat Thursday, training at the track has been cancelled.

Sessions will return as normal Monday.

A huge team of mini mets once again made the short trip to Bury AC where they managed to avoid the rain.
From U10 to U14 this solid team of young athletes under the supervision of team manager Sarah represented the club as always in the best possible way. It was their toughest test yet with lots of talent from other clubs pushing for medals. We once again brought home lots of amazing results and everyone had fun and is ready to get back training for the last match of the mini league in afew weeks.

YDL match 2 in Carlisle
A very special day.
With strong performances throughout the day and the best support from the side lines from parents, club officials and each other our junior team made their presence very clear.
New faces on the team stepping up after only afew weeks and the same reliable core athletes showing them the ropes, new friendships formed and memories made.
The results really don’t matter today as we take away so many incredible moments.
With a very small boys team in both age groups we still managed a team 4th in this new division of clubs loaded with talent, lack of numbers let us down on the day which is very disappointing, (we know we had school holidays and other commitments) however the athletes that were able to show up for us pulled huge performances out of the bag to keep us in contention as we approach match 3 out of the 4.

The Greater Manchester run was again a great event with our very own Belinda Bee doubling up as the mascot for Moya Cole hospice end of life care.
Mets out in force from all age groups.
Melia another fabulous win and deserved that top spot on the podium.
