The Great Lock In - 2026
Jokes I don’t coach lock ins I coach lifestyles but needed a tag line 😂
To tell the truth I’ve been going back & forth with posting this the past few days
But I’ve pushed all the girls to get out their comfort zone this month & document their journeys
So I’d be a hypocrite to leave this sat away in my drafts folder
I felt great in the photos on the left
I was confident in my skin, I was fit n strong & I felt great 😆
I’d gone from A ➡️ B and maintained B for a long time
These past few months for me have been about going from B ➡️ C
See while you maintain your body still fluctuates, they scales will move
Maintaining isn’t a completely flat line
You might gain a bit of weight into the new year or not get to the gym as much over summer
But you never go all the way back to where you started & you never go past where you feel you were the most “on it”
But once you get to point B, something that at one time or another felt so far out of the realm of possibility
You start realising what your capable of & that if you want it C is Within Reach 😏
I see it all the time in the women I coach
They lose the 2 stone that felt so out of reach
Then start to think about losing another stone which felt impossible
They run their first 5K after saying “I’ll never be a runner”
Then they enter a half-marathon
I guess what I’m trying to get across in my ramblings is 2 things
Don’t compare your A ➡️ B to someone’s B ➡️ C because you see influencers on their journey
Don’t overwhelm yourself trying to jump from A ➡️ C and skip B
Just focus on your first milestone
Then if you want to, you can build on from there

The first time I signed up to a gym I stopped going after a month
When though I let my membership run for another 3 😅
I never went back
I felt like I didn’t belong there
That people would judge me for reading the signs that explain how to set them up
10 years later I realised that was all in my own head 😌
But at the time those feelings & thoughts were my reality
Fast forward to now and I’m starting run clubs & running full capacity charity classes in fancy dress
Being able to train hasn’t just changed me physically
But mentally it’s been that destress I’ve need on rough days & gotten me through a lot of hard times
I don’t want anyone to miss out on that because they feel like they don’t belong
Within Reach & PureGym Whitehaven is a community where everyone feels like they belong
So if you’ve been putting it off
Or even tried a gym and never went back like me
Be brave.
Try it out one more time with us, find your people & find that place you belong 🩵

Sorry to break the bad news if one of these applies to you 😬
We have a community of women like no other at Within Reach
So if celebrating the girls when they hit a miles& leaning on people for support isn’t for you
You’d HATE our group chat
You actually enjoy feeling guilty every Sunday night after a weekend of “eating bad food”
And if you just can’t get enough of feeling like you’re starting from scratch every Monday
Then you’ll hate the education on nutrition at Within Reach
You feel cool because you hate training
Trainings meant to be fun & enjoyable
It shouldn’t feel like a slog or a chore
