Roe Green Cricket Club play in the Greater Manchester Cricket League and has 4 senior teams, 2 ladies teams (hardball and softball) and 7 junior teams from Under 9s to U18s with cricket on most nights and every weekend throughout the season (April to September). We are also proud to run the largest ECB AllStars and Dynamos courses in the area. Our events team organise several community events throughout the year as well as campnights on the pitch.

One year of the Roe Green Community Café ☕
Around a month ago, we quietly passed the first anniversary of our Community Café.
In just 12 months, we've hosted more than 50 Friday morning get-togethers, welcomed over 2,000 visitors, and, if our tea and coffee calculations are anything to go by, recently poured our 5,000th brew.
The café was created with a simple aim: to give local people a place to come together, get out of the house and enjoy a friendly chat over a brew. One year on, it's become exactly that. Every Friday morning, 40–50 people regularly join us in the clubhouse, catching up with friends old and new in a warm and welcoming environment.
Of course, none of it would be possible without the fantastic team behind it. A huge thank you goes to our volunteer club members, the Roe Green & Beesley Green Community Association, the Spearhead Foundation, and everyone else who has given their time and support over the past year. You've helped create something really special.
If you've never been before, why not come along? The Community Café is open to everyone, every Friday from 10am. Whether you're calling in for five minutes or staying all morning, you'll always be made very welcome.
Following England's dramatic quarter-final victory, we'll be showing Wednesday's World Cup semi-final against Argentina live in the clubhouse from 8pm, with the bar open throughout.
As with Saturday's game, we're expecting another busy evening, so we'll once again be prioritising our members for this fixture. We'd encourage members to arrive early, grab a seat and soak up the atmosphere 🏆

Following Monday’s brilliant victory over Mexico, we’ll be showing England’s World Cup quarter-final live in the clubhouse from 10pm on Saturday, with the bar open throughout.
We’re expecting a very busy evening, so we will be operating this game as members only.
We look forward to welcoming non-members back to the club on Sunday afternoon.
