Spotlight on Agecroft athlete Bella Okunola ⭐️

The past week Bella competed at the U19 World Championships in Plovdiv.

Bella who is currently rowing at St Edward’s School Oxford was selected for the U19 pair alongside Issy Hughes from Henley Rowing Club

It was tough competition in the pairs category, and Bella and her team mate were the youngest crew. They have been training in their pair just 3 weeks and absolutely smashed racing coming 5th in the B final, 11th overall.

We are all super super proud of them both - what an amazing experience 💖🇬🇧 👍

Representatives from our performance development academy, master, senior, development AND junior squads raced at Warrington last weekend in what was a hugely successful day for Agecroft. 🙌

British Rowing Club Championships 2026

A selection of crews from across the junior and senior squads raced in both sweep and sculling categories across 4 days at this year’s Brit Champs in Nottingham. It was a weekend of lots of close races, fast results and brilliant club morale.

Medals -
Adaptive AR2 1x 🥇 - a very special project with Blue peter presenter abby (on TV later this year) ✨

WJ15 2x 🥈- Coco and Harper coming 2nd out of 68 entries!!💪

Mx 8+ 🥈- a mix of some of our senior men and women’s squads 🤌

Plus lots of spots in A/B/C finals. A strong showing from Agecroft ❤️🤍💙

We are thrilled to announce that 3 crews from our performance mens squad have qualified for Henley Royal Regatta this year.

They have put in a huge amount of work and time to get here, and we can’t wait to watch and cheer them down the course on Tuesday.

11.35am: Race 26, Wyfold Challenge Cup - Agecroft B v Wallingford
2:40pm: Race 43, Wyfold Challenge Cup - Agecroft A v Molesey bc
4:20pm: Race 60, Thames Challenge Cup- Agecroft v Vesta A

Agecroft’s biggest ever (?) Henley Royal Regatta entry‼️

This year the club has 8 boats entered into with one boat pre-qualified.

The number of boats entered is testament to the hard work from every athlete involved across the both the senior and junior squads.

Best of luck to all those heading to qualifiers. What an achievement ⭐️💪

A weekend of racing in the lead up to Henley Royal Regatta 🚣🏻

Agecroft performance and junior squads made the journey down south to HWR and Marlow regatta this weekend.

The weekend was excellent preparation for Henley Royal Regatta and gave crews a chance to measure up to some of the fastest boats in the country.

A particularly strong set of results from our men’s squad which resulted in the Men’s 8+ pre-qualifying for The Thames Cup.

The rest of the crews will head down to qualifiers on Friday to race for a space at HRR ⭐️
