Calling young people aged 8-14 who love to move! We are offering you the opportunity to upskill in new movement techniques and to unleash your artistic, physical creativity with Lowry Youth Dance Project. All genders and abilities welcome.

In this project you will receive:

Tuition from industry professionals whilst making friends and learning new ways to move
Bespoke workshops in choreography, movement technique and improvisation
A performance opportunity

Lowry Centre for Advanced Training in Dance (CAT) warmly invites you to join us for an enchanting evening of dance, showcasing the work of our incredible students across this academic year.

Prepare to be captivated by bespoke, contemporary performances created in collaboration with a stellar line-up of choreographers, including James Squared, Jona Dance, Jordan Sheard, Kelly McClelland, Gary Lloyd, and dancers from VERVE and Emergence. Additionally, you will enjoy performances from Lowry CAT Outreach Youth Projects and Alumni Artists!

Lowry CAT provides high quality, contemporary and creative dance training to talented young people from across the North West Region. Supporting the choreographic development and independent voice of our students, this production highlights the importance of creative diversity, pushing boundaries of contemporary dance making and artistic collaboration.

Guided by the students’ passions, imaginations, and creative curiosities, this is your invitation to an unforgettable evening of dance and choreography. Don’t miss this exciting event that spotlights, celebrates and brings to the stage the future stars of dance, art, and innovation!
