Our social road ride rolls out every Wednesday at 18:00 🚲

Why not join one of our three groups? Each heads out at a different pace and distance, so there’s always something to suit you.

Key details:
• 18:00 ride out (Arrive a little before)
• 3 groups, approx 2 hour ride
• Front & rear lights are mandatory
• No drop policy - we wait for the slowest rider

It’s all about getting out, riding together, and enjoying it.

Three groups out on our social road ride!

Imogen led a group of five on a lovely 17 mile ride. Helen actually said she enjoyed it 😲

Lee led a well sized medium group looping around the lanes over to Mitchell then around to Nansledan and back

Four riders went out on the other medium group which turned into a great pacy ride.

More racing at the weekend with our youngest supported rider Brody, who attended the Malverns Classic MTB Festival, competing in the National 4X Championships and the Downhill Slalom.

Brody set the fastest qualifying time in the Slalom by over 1 second and then went on to win his head-to-head duel by 3 seconds, riding his Trek Supercaliber.

Again riding his XC Supercaliber in the 4X Championships, Brody took a 2nd, 1st and 4th in his first three motos to make the last 16, where he progressed through the quarter-finals and into the semi-final. Unfortunately, a small mistake got him eliminated.

Are XC bikes like the Trek Supercaliber the most versatile bikes?

It is great to see the progress of young riders in Cornwall thanks to Wheal Velocity Cycle Club and we look forward to supporting Brody through the cyclocross season and his step up to national XC racing next season

Ocean Cycles takes on triathlon!

Sam and his sister Lucy took on the Bodmin Triathlon last Sunday. This was both of their first attempt with great results all-round

Lucy came in 7th in her category and 12th female overall

Sam came in 5th in category and 7th overall
