Maybe it’s arthritis, a dodgy knee, an old injury, problems with your balance or simply that you haven’t exercised for years.
These are all things that can make coming to the gym feel a bit daunting, but they don’t automatically mean you shouldn’t exercise.
This is where working with a coach can really help. We can use our knowledge and experience to choose exercises that suit you, make modifications so movements work better for you, and help you gradually build your strength and fitness while reducing the risk of picking up an injury along the way.
And coaching isn’t just for athletes. It’s for everyday people who want to feel fitter, healthier and stronger, including those approaching or enjoying retirement.
You don’t have to keep up with anyone else, and you don’t need to arrive knowing what you’re doing.
Your training should fit you, not the other way around.
I currently have space for two new 1:1 clients, plus two spaces in our 11:30 Tuesday and Thursday Classics groups for men and women over 60.
