A client I worked for years ago is in Japan and sent me these wonderful photos.

One is of a manhole cover in town, as they celebrate thatched houses as part of their cultural heritage.

We had a mascot on this job. A very devoted mother duck who slowed us down. In the end we had to rescue her and her ducklings from the big fall off the half hip. All 10 eggs have hatched, along with 5 from an abandoned nest.
