This topic hits closer to home than most people realise.
Eating disorders are not trends. They’re not diets. They’re not a phase. They’re serious illnesses that take lives, destroy relationships, and convince people they’re never “sick enough” to deserve help.
I’ve seen the damage these standards and the obsession with being “skinny” can do, which is why I’ll never stop talking about it. If my voice makes even one person question the harmful messages they’re consuming or feel less alone in their struggle, it’s worth it.
The skinny trend isn’t harmless. Real people are suffering behind it❤️🙏🏻

In a world obsessed with being smaller, choose strength
Since shifting my focus away from chasing “skinny” and toward building a strong body, everything changed. My energy is higher, my mind feels clearer, my joy for life is back. I crave adventure again. I appreciate my body for what it can DO, not just how it looks.
Training to be strong has pushed me beyond limits I never thought I was capable of. And the best part? I’ve still seen the results I wanted without sacrificing my summer, my social life, or the moments that make life worth living.
You do not have to choose between enjoying your life and feeling confident in your body. You can have both.
Strong > skinny. Every single time.
Go live your life to its fullest people🙏🏻💖
