Another week, another heatwave! We’re getting used to adapting to this ridiculous weather. Two loops of 2.5km with a little water break in between, just lovely. And the post run garden beers went down beautifully 😙

Back to our bread and butter, where it all began on Saturdays.

As much as we love our Wednesday evening runs, there’s something special about a sunny Saturday morning with the crew. No rush, no head torches, just great company, social miles, and the perfect way to start the weekend.

Run #130 reminded us why these Saturdays have been at the heart of MRC St Albans from the very beginning. Long may they continue.

Tonight’s run was pushed later so we could watch England football team battle through to the Round of 16 in the World Cup. Harry Kane doing what Harry Kane does, dragging the Three Lions back from behind to secure a 2-1 win ⚽🔥

Nothing like a post-match run to burn off the stress of watching the game. And in a change to the usual order of events it was - first we drink then we run 😂

England march on to face Mexico and so do we, back to the usual time next week!🏃💨
