I'm really enjoying my new role with the NHS, while still doing what I love in private practice.

I'm continuing to see 1-1 hypnotherapy clients on Mondays and Tuesdays, and I currently have a few spaces available for free consultations.

Feeling a little bit pleased with myself and, of course, with my client!

Together we tackled her crippling anxiety head-on.

In just 4 sessions, she went from feeling overwhelmed, unable to cope and constantly anxious to being calm, confident, and in control.

Seeing her reclaim her life and thrive has been humbling and rewarding.

I'm in my mid-50s, and I can honestly say I'm the strongest I've ever been.

Not because I'm chasing the body I had in my 20s, but because I've learned to appreciate what an incredible gift it is to have a body that can move, lift, walk, stretch, and grow stronger.

This body has carried me through every chapter of my life. It gave birth to three beautiful children and has navigated stress, joy, challenges, heartbreak, laughter, and everything in between. Despite, the “miles on the clock”, it continues to show up for me every single day.

There was a time when I dreaded getting older, thought it meant slowing down. But, what I've discovered instead, is that age can bring a deeper respect for ourselves.

For me, every workout is an act of gratitude. A thank you to my body for carrying me this far. A thank you for good health. A thank you for another day to move, breathe, and live fully.

I know not everyone has the ability to exercise, and honestly I never take that for granted. The fact that I can challenge my muscles, feel my heart beating stronger, and continue building strength is something I am deeply grateful for.

If you're wondering whether it's too late to start looking after yourself, it isn't.

Your body doesn't care how old you are.

It responds to love, consistency,
movement, nourishment, and care.

So wherever you are on your journey, be kind to yourself. Celebrate what your body can do today, rather than criticising what it can't.

We don't stop moving because we get older. We get older when we stop moving.

And for as long as I am able, I'll keep showing up with gratitude for this body, this life, and the privilege of being able to keep getting stronger ❤️
