These last 4 weeks at my Tuesday class in St Albans, we’ve been focusing on all the different ways of building up half moon pose.
Three weeks in and we are looking so strong and really working out as individuals how the pose works in each of our bodies.
It’s a big lesson - especially in teaching yoga - that postures look and feel different on every body, if Yoga is to be accessible to ALL we need to acknowledge this and allow eachother to find the pose for ourselves and definitely invite playfulness, give-it-a-go attitude and allow for all the wobbles and fall outs!
Yoga is fun and an exploration of ourselves!! Half moon, being one of the more challenging postures, was a great way to start, welcome and bring a group of strangers together and to have a nice focus over the 4 weeks!
