Huge congratulations to our U14 squad — 2026 National Championship Silver Medalists.

A brilliant group with every player from Sussex and one standout talent from the Isle of Wight.

They delivered some superb beach soccer all weekend, showing quality, discipline and real togetherness on the sand.
Special shout‑out to GK Charlie, who was immense between the posts and fully deserved his Golden Glove award.

Huge congratulations to Charlie and Miller, our two standout shot‑stoppers from Sussex who claimed the Golden Glove awards in the U14 and U16 categories at the ENGLAND BEACHSOCCER National Championships.

Both keepers were immense throughout the championships, brave, disciplined, technically sharp and absolutely vital to our teams’ success. Their performances lit up the sand and set the standard for goalkeeping across the festival.

Elite are proud of both of you.

Match Report Valkyries🪽

Valkyries got off to a flying start in their first league match against Brighstone this afternoon going 1-0 up within a couple of minutes with a well taken goal from Ruby. The girls played some really good football, using what we had been working on at training well but Brighstone were difficult to break down. Not long before half time Summer lobbed the keeper with an absolute worldy on the edge of the box to make it 2-0 to the girls at half time. Second half we started well, moving the ball around nicely with some great individual runs by Daisy, Jess and Isabelle but unfortunately we conceded a free kick which Brighstone took well making it 2-1. A scramble in the box well into the second half saw Jess rewarded for her hardwork throughout the game making it 3-1 with Maisy bringing the Valkyries tally to 4 after a brilliantly composed 1v1 with the keeper. A frantic last few minutes saw a flurry of attacks from Brighstone with the Ventnor girls conceding right at the death with it finishing 4-2 to the Valkyries at the final whistle. Every single player in a yellow shirt was outstanding today and both defensively and going forward but our girl of the game voted by the girls unanimously was Jess 🏆

Well done girls we are incredibly proud of you all and we look forward to the rest of the season 💛💙🪽
