Today the girls faced a U13s side for the first time and what a performance! 👏💙🤍
The football was unreal — playing through the lines, linking up beautifully, calm and collected at the back, turning defence into attack, midfield working their socks off and that relentless press from the front! 🔥
A proper team display from start to finish! 👏
⚽️ Liberty bossed the right and finished with a superb goal.
🚀 Taylor with an absolute screamer of a free kick.
⚽️ Hannah slotting home from close range.

With no league fixture this week, and so soon after the season has started, we felt the best decision was to find a friendly to keep the girls going! ⚽️💙🤍
This week the Lionesses take on Lichfield City Griffins U13s, a really good test for our girls as they face a team a year above them! 💪🦁
It’ll be a great opportunity to challenge themselves, get some more minutes under their belts and keep that competitive spirit going!

🦁 THE LIONESSES ARE BACK… AND BACK WITH A BANG! 💙🤍

Well… THAT was more like it! 😍 The Lionesses were back in action today and my god, they came back with a bang! 💥

The girls showed strength, determination and a real desire to win every single ball. Bodies were put on the line, the pressure was immense, and the football they played at times was an absolute joy to watch! 👏⚽️

A fantastic team performance and a great win for the girls, with:
⚽️ Hannah x4 — four fantastic, well-worked goals!
⚽️ Taylor x2 — a brace for Tay!
⚽️ Freya x1 — some brilliant footwork, dribbling past her player before finishing with a fantastic goal! 🔥

🏆 Parents’ Player – Hannah
Unreal today! 🔥 An outstanding performance from Hannah, who was truly on fire! Four goals to top off all the hard work she put in for the team. 👏

🏆 Coaches’ Player – Macy
Calm, collected and composed. Macy made some lovely passes, put her body on the line and worked tirelessly — topped off with a fantastic clean sheet! 👏

But more importantly… THIS was a true team display. 💙🤍
Everyone played their part, fought for each other and showed exactly what this Lionesses team is all about.

It’s an early start for the Lionesses as we hit the road for a 9:30am kick-off away at Port Vale! ☕🚗⚽️
We know it’s not going to be an easy game, but the girls are ready to work hard, battle for every ball and hopefully bring home some more points for the table! 💪🔥

🦁💙 THE LIONESSES ARE BACK! 💙🦁
After what felt like a lifetime, we finally got back on the pitch today… ⚽️
A tough first half saw us go 1-0 down, but a brilliantly worked goal just before half time got us back level. 👏
Second half the girls came out fighting, creating chance after chance… unfortunately, we just couldn’t find the back off the net!🤦‍♀️
FULL TIME: 1-1 🤝

Put in a huge shift at the back, working hard and throwing herself into everything! 💪

Some cracking saves today, keeping us in it time and time again! 🧤👏

🦁 Tomorrow our Lionesses begin their U12s season! 💙🤍

And with that comes a whole new challenge… this year it’s competitive football, where every win, every goal and every point matters in the Staffordshire girls and ladies Premier League. It certainly isn’t going to be easy, but we know our girls are ready for the challenge! 💪⚽️
They’re excited, determined and, most importantly, ready to be back on that pitch together doing what they do best, playing football, working as a team and enjoying every minute of it. 🦁💙
The first challenge awaits tomorrow as we welcome Pelsall Villa Colts to Lea Hall HQ for our first league game of the season. 🏆

Today we celebrated our amazing girls and the fantastic season they have had! 💙⚽
Every player received a trophy in recognition of their hard work, commitment, and dedication throughout the season 👏🏅
We also presented our 5 special awards:

The improvement Lottie has made this season has not gone unnoticed by anyone. Our little pocket rocket has gone from strength to strength! 💫

Our captain who keeps the team in check and leads brilliantly from the back. A fantastic role model on and off the pitch. 👏💙
⚽ Spectators' Player of the Year – Taylor
Fierce on the pitch, never gives up, and scores some incredible goals! A well-deserved winner. 🔥🥅
⭐ Players' Player of the Year – Georgia
A great left foot, a great teammate, and someone who never stops trying. Voted for by her teammates – a special achievement! 💪⚽

An extremely strong and physical player who is happy to play anywhere for the team and always gives 100%. 💯👏
It was a great day had by all, and it's all about the girls. They all deserve to be celebrating their achievements this season. 🎉💙
