A successful first week of our children's summer holiday sailing courses, with everyone completing their stages and they will get their certificates this afternoon 🥳

Our junior courses continue for the next few weeks and are suitable for children with no experience before, we start from the very basics:
⛵ 3 days Stage 1
⛵ 5 days Stage 1 and 2

Key Info:
✅ 9.30am to 4.00pm each day
✅ Ages 8 - 15 years old
✅ Club membership is NOT required, courses are open to everyone
✅ We provide wetsuits, buoyancy aids and helmets
✅ Small group sizes and instructor ratios
✅ Swimming skills not needed, but should be water confident

Plus, we also have:
⛵ Sailing taster sessions - 2 hour mini-sessions to have a go at sailing
⛵ Sailing fun days - 2 days of fun on the water to have an extended go and learning the very basics of sailing.

Just one week until our next Summer TT at Draycote on Saturday 18th July! A one day event - briefing at 10:30am, first race scheduled for 11:30am, four races back to back. Onsite campervan/motorhome parking can be booked with your entry.

A friendly home fleet and a club that is very used to hosting us!

Entries close on Wed 15th July - late entries may be accepted up to 5pm on 17th July at an additional fee.

Focus on Fun! Is your junior not quite ready for a sailing course, but still wants to have a go? Try our 2 day 'extended taster session' to do just that!

Spend 2 days getting a hands on experience of sailing and discovering sailing. The instructor will be in the boat with up to 3 juniors, teaching them basic rigging and details, and the teaching aspect is incorporated into games, quizes and activities.

Juniors feeling more confident can have a go at crewing the boat under instructor direction, and there's potential for some fun-boat sailing should they feel ready for it, where the instructor will be right alongside in a powerboat.

Even though this isn't a formal course, it will be run by the same qualified instructors and the children will be given a participation certificate.

This activity should be followed by a stage 1 or stage 1 & 2 course where sailing experience can be enhanced to a level where the juniors can attend sail independently, then join in youth club and hire our boats.

A fantastic morning running a sailing session for students of Princethorpe College today. The sun was shining with the perfect amount of wind making the conditions ideal for a taster sailing morning.

You can learn to windsurf in just 2 days!

Even if you've never stepped on a board before, our instructor will teach you all the basics of balance, control and manoeuvring to get you windsurfing across the water.

We'll provide the board, wetsuits and buoyancy aids, and the course is suitable for ages 14+.
