Today is a big day for so many of our SCDC family as our Year 6 and Year 11 dancers celebrate their last day at school.

It doesn’t seem that long ago they were the little ones, looking up to the older dancers, learning the routines and dreaming of being just like them… Now, they’re the role models, with the next generation watching them with the very same admiration. 🥹🩷💕

We’ve loved watching you grow ~ not just as dancers, but as kind, confident and inspiring young people. We are so proud of everything you’ve achieved and can’t wait to see where your next chapter takes you.

Good luck to all of our Year 6 and Year 11 leavers. Enjoy every moment of today, make lots of memories, and remember… you’ll always be part of the SCDC family wherever life takes you. 🖤✨

🎬✨ Well… that’s one way to spend a Saturday morning! ✨🎬

What an AMAZING morning we’ve had at The Arc Cinema in Daventry for our private screening of “We Go Together”! 🥳

🍿 Popcorn for breakfast? Absolutely.
🥤 Slushies before 10am? 100%
🧑‍🩰 Watching our dancers on the big screen? The best feeling ever!

Watching all of our dancers’ hard work come to life on the big screen was incredible, but the best part was hearing them cheer each other on, celebrate each other’s performances, and support one another throughout. That’s exactly what SCDC is all about. 🫶🏻 Every single dancer should be proud of themselves. You were all amazing! 🌟

Thank you to everyone who came along and made it such a special morning, and thank you so much to our wonderful chaperones for always helping us out - Julia, Louise, Francesca, Janice, Noni & Alex 🥰

Our awesome new flags! 🤩🚩

We’re absolutely in love with our new flags, and they definitely deserve a special shout-out!

A huge thank you to Andy at Buzzdog signs and designs for turning them around so quickly for us, the quality is amazing! 👏🏼

A special thank you to Paige for bringing my vision to life. There were many messages back and forth while we tweaked every little detail, your patience and creativity was very much appreciated! 🖤

Thank you to Paul and Timothy for battling the rock-hard ground (thanks to all the sunshine! ☀️) to get them standing proudly at the Our Jay Festival, and to Pippa for squeezing them into her car and getting them safely over to the John White Festival.

And finally, thank you to Krissie for quite literally stepping in and holding one of our flags during our performance at Cawston Grange Primary School when there wasn’t anywhere to put it. Team work makes the dream work 🥰

It really does take a village, and we’re so grateful to everyone who helped make these flags happen and get them to where they needed to be.
