3rd away game in a row in the mjpl !!!

Looking to gain another 3 points to hopefully push up the table and stay unbeaten in the league 🙏

Central Warwickshire premier division :

Halesowen Town 2-4 west brom allstars

Today wasn't meant to be 😔

First of all we want to congratulate west brom allstars for the 3 points and deserved first win in the prem 👏

Very good strong opposition who will be hard to beat this season 💯

On our behalf to have 4 big players out missing due to injuries and academy opportunities it was always going to be a tough game ..

In all fairness we started the game very well matched west brom in all areas ..

Went 0-1 1-1, 1-2 then 2-2 half time ..

Shooting down hill 2nd half maybe made us favourites to go and win the game ..

But In the end west brom had that dynamic pace and physicality in the final third and went 2-3 up after having some great opportunities ourselves to go in front ..

Having couple lads in the attacking areas missing and then 1 coming off injured I think personally cost us at least a point in the end ..

West brom got the 4th on the counter in the last few minutes as we tried to push for the equaliser..

Gutted for the lads ..

But the better team won and we want to wish west brom all the best ..

We go again next week to try put things right ..

Take each game as it comes ..

And at this level whoever takes their chances and shows more desire will go and win the game 💯

Midland junior premier league :

Engage fc 1-2 Halesowen Town

3 points away from home !!!! 🙌💙

Today the lads travelled to stoke ..

Terrible start before the balls even kicked with congestion on the m5,m6 motorway..

Meaning a few players couldn't make it on time and only 10 minutes to warm up ..

Started the game very slow and conceded after 15 minutes, but that only woke the lads up and with a wonder strike on his so called weaker left foot from striker Reagan Shore put the lads level 👌⚽️

5 minutes after just before half time mason while made it 1-2 securing the ball in the box to smash home the 2nd 🙌⚽️

Second half the lads passed the ball around the pitch very well from back to front and seemed like engage players got abit tired ...

We had to deal with alot of long balls 2nd half against fast n energetic players but the defence kept their line very organised and managed to limit engage to barely any chances ..

Job well done 👏

Puts the lads on 4 points in the big 79 team mjpl league and the lads sit 20th as we speak ....

2 away games 4 points 🤝

Engage Fc vs Halesowen Town

A trip to stoke !!!!

We don't know too much about engage fc as they are new to the Midland Junior Premier League this season ..

They managed to get a point vs Kidderminster harriers last weekend drawing 2-2 at home

The lads are hoping to pick up 3 points and I'm sure will come with full confidence to try and achieve that 🙏⚽️💙

Sunday in the CWYFL prem :

Halesowen Town vs West Brom allstars

West brom were unbeaten all last season div 1 champions and also won the open cup 👏

big test for the boys in blue in our first home game of the season 🙏⚽️💙

Sunday Central Warwickshire premier division :

Silhill fc 1-2 Halesowen Town 🙌💙

Sunday was the lads debut in the CWYFL ⚽️

And what a debut it was 👌💯

After a very competitive game on Saturday we had a few players missing through injury but that didn't stop the lads from performing to a high level 👏

Started the game on the front foot , winning 1st and 2nd balls defending like warriors and midfield dictating the game 💪

Attacking movement from the lads up top was outstanding, and went 1 -0 up after half hour , a superb through ball from Fenton who threaded top striker Reagan to go 1on1 with the goalkeeper and as you can see finished with pure confidence 👌⚽️

Silhill equaliser came with 15 mins to go and a dubious referee decision let the goal stand although the lino flagged the player offside !!

That only spurred the lads on to find the winner !!!

With 3 minutes to go goalkeeper Harvey Phillips plays the ball outwide to rb George who then played his rw partner Harrison down the channel who spun his marker put a lovely cross into the box just missed Reagan but goalscoring midfielder Kaid took the opportunity to get the winning goal which sent everyone into absolute joy and again like Saturday absolute scenes !!!! 💯🙌⚽️💙

Fantastic start to the new season 👌

the lads seem full of confidence 🙌!!!

Management staff are very happy 🙏

And parents are loving watching there lads enjoy there football 💯⚽️

More to come from these boys and we're all excited for this up n coming season !!!

Sorry for the delay everyone 🙏

Saturday's MJPL match report ⚽️

Rushall Olympic 2-2 Halesowen Town

Last minute equaliser for the Halesowen town boys !!!!

Facing up against Chris Brunts rushall olympic we all knew the ex pro centre midfielder would of recruited some top quality youngsters into his squad and that was exactly what he did 👏

Very strong opposition to start off our MJPL campaign and the lads had to fight from being 2-0 down with 20 minutes to go ..

Going against the wind in the 1st half the lads had to withstand some heavy pressure from the opposition and unfortunately conceded two goals which maybe we could of dealt with abit better but none the less we went 2-0 down and had to find a way to get back into the game ....

Half time came and the gaffa had a discussion with his coaches and decided to switch up the formation and try something different second half and it paid off a treat 💯👌

None stop pressure from the boys 2nd half .. pushing and probing to find the goal to get us back into the game ... and after 70 minutes midfielder Kaid managed to get on the end of a beautiful cross from right back George and find the back of the net 🙌⚽️

2-1 !!!

1 minute left , the lads get a corner !!!!

Gaffa keil sends up literally every player including goalkeeper Harvey.. ball gets whipped into the back post and big centre half Andrew leaps highest and sends the ball into the back of the net !!!!! 🙌🙌⚽️

Epic scenes and fully deserved from the lads ...

Togetherness and fight n desire was all there to see and in the end a fantastic point for the lads to start of the MJPL season 👏⚽️💙

Onwards n upwards 🤝

A really exciting month ahead for our U16s and we can’t wait to get started. The squad is looking strong, the lads have worked hard through pre-season and now it’s time to put it all into competitive games.

We’re looking for a keeper to help us out this Sunday for an away fixture in Telford – 10am kick-off, as our regular keeper is away on holiday with his family.

Just looking for someone to come in and cover the game for us. Any ability considered!
