FC Aztec Providing grassroots football to girls and boys - aged U6 to U18 We also have recently started up a walking football group.

F.C.Aztec was formed in 1977 with one team and was the brainchild of the late Ray Coe and Nick Haycock. The club started with one team at under 13's and has grown to its present size of 28 teams, girls and boys starting from 6 years old to under 18's. FC Aztec is a Charter Standard Development Club in which all of the team manager's are trained to a minimum of the FA Level 1 coaching qualification, Enhanced DBS cleared, have the FA safeguarding children qualification and FA's emergency aid qualification. The club welcomes player's of all abilities and offers affordable football for all. Home matches are played at Montsaye Academy. All teams are registered in one of the below leagues:
• Kettering Weetabix Youth League
• Northants Women’s and Girls Macron Football League
• Leicester City and County girls football League
• Chromasport Northants Combination League

The U18s faced tough opposition as Wellingborough Town U18 Scholars visited Sergeants Lawn last Thursday, all five goals came in the first half but the lads dug deep to regroup at HT and put up a spirited fight in the second half. 🔰🏆⚽ U9 AMAZONS – PLAYER OF THE MATCH ⚽🏆🔰

Well done yesterday, everyone! The girls played brilliantly and did everything we asked of them. 👏🏻💚💛

We spoke to the girls about getting stuck in and not being afraid to win the ball, and that’s exactly what we saw today! 💪🏻⚽️

Some huge performances across the team, with Bonnie and Matilda brilliant in midfield — endless energy, some fantastic tackles and a real determination to win the ball. 👏🏻🔥

🧤 Immie made some great saves to keep us in the game when we needed her!

⚽️ Annie grabbed herself a hat-trick! That’s 5 goals in 2 weeks — absolutely brilliant! 🎩⚽️🔥

🏆 Player of the Match – Mills 🏆

Mills was fantastic! She was so confident in every tackle, used her strength brilliantly and seemed to never miss an opportunity to win the ball back. A really strong and determined performance! 💪🏻👏🏻

We’re incredibly proud of all the girls, as always! 💚💛 A great result and a brilliant win away from home.

🍌⭐️ U12 TOP BANANA – EFFIE! ⭐️🍌

We’re blessed to have two keen goalkeepers in our team, and this week it was Effie’s turn to show us exactly what she can do! 👏🏻 🧤⚽️

Effie really stood up to the plate today, commanding her box brilliantly and making some fantastic decisions to come off her line and stop dangerous attacks. She made some excellent 1-on-1 saves and showed great bravery, getting to the ball in front of attackers before they could get their shots away! 🧤💪🏻

Players and parents were all in agreement that Effie kept us in the game during the first half, giving the team the platform to go on and finish the game so strongly! 💛👏🏻

A brilliant goalkeeping performance and a thoroughly deserved Top Banana! 🍌🏆

The players made this choice a very difficult one for us this week! After a tough start to the season last week, everyone turned up with a smile and was ready to play — and play they certainly did! 👏🏻😁

⭐️ Star of the Week – George ⭐️

This week’s award goes to George, and I think that smile says it all! 😁🏆

George stepped into defence for us and, although it isn’t his favourite position, he did an amazing job defending our half. 💪🏻🛡️ He worked hard, stayed focused and even managed to get himself two goals! ⚽⚽

A very tough, physical battle for the Warriors today against a very strong opposition, as you would expect in the top league! 💪🏻👏🏻

🌟 Parents’ Player of the Match – Charlie 🌟

Charlie was brilliant in goal for us today, making a number of fantastic saves! 🧤👏🏻 He was very brave coming out to get the ball when it was in his box, and his distribution was excellent, getting the ball out quickly and helping the Warriors play forward.

🌟 Manager’s Player of the Match – Rory 🌟

Another excellent all-round performance from Rory today! He was everywhere on the pitch, winning the ball back in midfield on numerous occasions and driving the team forward. He capped off a fantastic display with 2 goals! ⚽⚽🔥

A massive well done to Charlie, Rory and the rest of the Warriors for their hard work and determination today!

U11 Phoenix picked up our first win of the season today! 🎉💪🏻

Some fantastic, mature performances from all the boys, with a couple of hat-tricks thrown in for good measure! ⚽⚽⚽

However, one of our two new summer signings really stood out today. Jonah put in a brilliant performance, contributing with goals and assists and showing fantastic teamwork and unselfishness. Even when he was through on goal himself, he chose to pass to a teammate in a better position — a brilliant example of putting the team first! 👏🏻💚

Well done, Jonah — a thoroughly deserved Player of the Match! 🏆⚽

After a summer away, Miron came back into the team with a bang today! 💥

He was full of energy from start to finish and put in a really industrious performance. He made countless timely interceptions, worked tirelessly for the team and capped off his display with a fantastic goal, showing great skill and precision! 👏⚽

An all-round fantastic performance and a brilliant return to the team!

This week’s Amazon of the Week is… Pheebie! 🏆⭐️

Pheebie was phenomenal today, showing her versatility by switching roles between defence in the first half and midfield in the second! 💪🏻⚽️ She got herself on the scoresheet with a fantastic goal and put in some key tackles along the way. 👏🏻

All the girls were fantastic this week, and the progress from last week has continued! We saw better positional play, great pressing and the girls working hard for each other throughout. 🙌🏻

⭐️⚽️ U9 BRAVES PLAYER OF THE MATCH – ALFIE! ⚽️⭐️

The U9 Braves continued their bright start to the season, and this week’s well-deserved Player of the Match award goes to Alfie! 🏆👏🏻

Alfie put in a midfield and defensive masterclass today! 💪🏻 Strong, calm and composed on the ball, he showed some fantastic touches to escape the opposition and get us moving forward.

And as for his tackling… we honestly lost count! 👏🏻🔥

In a game where the ball was constantly bobbling around in the heavy grass, Alfie was everywhere — winning tackles, battling for possession and giving us a real presence in the middle of the pitch.

A top performance from a top kid! 👏🏻⚽️
