70 years ago this week…

On 30th August 1956, the Sir Stuart C. Goodwin Professional Tournament got underway at Rotherham Golf Club, Thrybergh Park, running through to 1st September.

We’re incredibly proud to announce that our very own Jack Whaley has been selected to represent Great Britain & Ireland in the Walker Cup at Lahinch.

Fresh from his outstanding US Amateur Championship victory, Jack continues to go from strength to strength. His selection for one of amateur golf’s most prestigious events is a testament to his talent, dedication, and hard work.

Congratulations, Jack, on this well-deserved achievement. We’ll all be cheering you on as you represent GB&I at Lahinch. 🇬🇧🇮🇪⛳
