We are excited to inform you about our upcoming summer schedule featuring themed lessons every Saturday.
During this summer, we have designed a series of exciting lessons with themes where the participants will not only improve their Taekwondo skills but also make unforgettable memories with their friends.
The following is an outline of our summer timetable:
Date: 10th August
Theme: NERF
Description: We will provide safe Nerf guns and darts but the children are welcome to bring their own.

Date: 17th August
Theme: Balloons

Date: 24th August
Theme: Bouncy Castle

Date: 31st August
Theme: Olympics

Date: 7th September
Theme: Sparring or Shoulder/ knee tag competition

Every child can bring up to 2 friends with them to participate in the sessions and we will begin at normal class times.

Reopening Thursday 15th April

We can now confirm we are reopening next week from Thursday 15th April. We will be returning with the same Covid measures we had in place before the lockdown

Thursday
Beginner kids - 5:45pm- 6:30pm
Advanced kids - 6:30- 7:20
Teens/Adults - 7:25 - 8:25pm

Saturdays
Beginner kids - 10am - 10:45am
Advanced kids - 10:50 - 11:35
Teens/Adults - 11:40 - 12:40

If you are unwell or have covid symptoms please remain at home for the prescribed isolation period.

Aktive Martial Arts -Reopening update Feb 26th 2021

Hello everyone, we hope you are all safe and well.

We have now had time to digest the governments roadmap for our return. We wanted to get in touch and explain our current interpretation but please note that these are subject to changes.

We are currently planning for a return to classes from 15th April. We will be returning with the same Covid measures we had in place before the lockdown.

From 21st June we hope all restrictions on class syllabus will be removed i.e contact will be allowed again.
We will be in touch again before reopening to provide further update

A reminder of timetable:

Thursday:
Beginners kids class - 5:45pm- 6:30
Advanced Kids 6:35pm - 7:20pm
Adults 7:25pm - 8:25pm

Saturday:
Beginners kid class - 10am - 10:45am
Advanced Kids 10:50am - 11:35am
Adults 11:40am - 12:40pm

Following the Prime Ministers announcement earlier today, we are pleased to announce classes will return on Thursday 3rd December. As things stand, we can continue even if we are in the new stricter Tier 3.
To make up for lost time, we will be open throughout the Xmas period (with the exception of one session).
Please refamiliarize yourselves with our Covid-secure measures:
-One way system. Entry will be made through the main. Exit will be the side door in the training hall.
- adhere to social distancing until admitted to the Training Hall (attendance register taken )
-Everyone must use hand sanitizer on entry - it will be provided in venue
- No parents/guests admitted to the Training Hall. Drop off and pick up only.
- No changing at the venue. Students must get changed at home.
- Gym shoes or trainers must be worn
- do not attend if you have covid symptoms

Aktive Martial Arts - We are awaiting confirmation from government for detailed guidelines on lockdown and we will be in touch before Thursday about classes. Discussions are ongoing with industry bodies to secure exceptions for martial arts classes. The evidence shows negligible transmission rates at martial arts schools and exercise classes and Covid secure measures have been shown to be effective.
