With high temperatures and the carp more interested in hiding away from the blazing sun, finding them on the shipping canals was proving a challenge. But Jack still managed a couple on the trip, with this stunning scaley mirror being the pick of the bunch.

A morning of non-stop action on his Northamptonshire syndicate, with Adam simply rinsing and repeating as he took full advantage of a feeding frenzy.

With time against him and work calling, it was a case of making the most of every minute before packing up and hitting the road back to work.
