We’ve had such a lovely day at The Nook & Play today! 🥰✨

We finally managed to visit and had the best time exploring and playing in their amazing storybook land 📚🧚‍♀️ I even got to be a mermaid, elephant and a bear! 🧜‍♀️🐘🧸💕

We headed downstairs for lunch too and even more playtime. The food was delicious, but that Oreo brownie… 😍🍫 Absolutely incredible!

A huge thank you to YWCA Yorkshire for inviting Little Movers to join you for your fabulous ‘Fleming by the Sea’ event this week! ☀️🌊

There was so much fun to be had, from sand and paddling pools to hook-a-duck — and of course, we brought the dancing! 💃🕺

We hope you all had a fabulous day and enjoyed getting involved with Little Movers. It was also lovely to bump into the ladies from Rotherham United Community Trust ❤️

And finally… we’re so sorry for commenting on how sunny it was and apparently making the heavens open! 😂🌧️

Nothing was going to stop us though — we just danced in the rain! ☔️💃

💃 Baby Movers is a fabulously fun, relaxed baby class suitable right from birth to toddling – they’re never too young! Everything is fully adaptable to your baby’s age and stage, and it’s a lovely way to meet other parents & carers 🤍

We know how daunting that first trip out can feel with a brand-new (and unpredictable!) baby 😅 But don’t worry – you’ll be in a room full of parents & carers who totally get it.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone at Little Learners Wickersley Childminders for welcoming Little Movers Rotherham this year for both our PE sessions and our truly special intergenerational sessions.

It has been such a joy watching the children grow in confidence, develop their physical skills, and embrace every activity with so much enthusiasm.

The intergenerational session was especially magical. ✨ Watching the children and older adults laugh, chat, sing, dance and play together creates moments that are so heartwarming. These sessions bring so many benefits for everyone involved—building friendships across generations, boosting confidence, reducing loneliness, encouraging communication and creating memories that will be treasured by both the children and residents alike.
