The Birmingham City shop wasn't much to write home about but I did get some nice badges from a guy selling stuff on the street outside

Match Report Birmingham City v Bristol City
First home game of the season for the Bluenoses so a very exciting pre game atmosphere.
In goal for the Blues,James Beadle, who was at the Owls a couple of years ago,he had a great game.
Great to see Jay Stansfield and Demarai Gray in action.
Bristol City had Scott Twine who Wednesday should have signed 4 or 5 years ago and Lorent Tolaj up front who was class when we saw him play for Plymouth at Donny last season.
Story of the game,1st half was pretty equal, not much in it,Birmingham had a long range shot whistle just wide but Bristol went 1 up in a goalmouth scramble.Another one at the other end saw Blues equalise, the ball finally going in off the keeper for an OG.
2nd half the Robins bossed it,looked a good side, passed the ball intelligently and had a few great chances. They took the lead through a wonder goal,a back heeled volley at our end, incredible.
Brum equalised not long after but it was chalked off,I think for offside.
4 minutes added,a Blues close range header saved and couldn't see why from my seat but a penalty given.Gray put it in for 2-2.
A very exciting end to an overall entertaining game and a good advert for the EFL.
Brizzle deserved to win the game and the 3 points but to their credit Birmingham never gave up and got the point.
With play off places now down to 8th in the league both these teams stand a chance of being in the mix come may.

Ratings
Stadium 10/10 .. Old school but had some refurbishment, all the seats where I was looked new.Ticking the ground off as they are to build a new 60,000 plus seater, which seems a bit extreme as they don't fill this one very often
Home Fans 3/10 .. A big let down, hardly sang at all, noisy when they scored but that was it,plenty of gesturing, etc with the away end and vice versa but overall, poor
Away Fans 10+ .. Absolutely fantastic and unexpected from me at least.Proper away end, never stopped singing all match.Superb.
Transport/Access 10/10,fantastic public transport links, just minutes from and to the City Centre and in and out and away from the ground easy.
City/Locality .. Birmingham surprised me,very busy but extremely clean.Loads of shops and eating places.
Football/Trip experience 10/10, I really enjoyed it
Will I return .. 100% yes, maybe a local derby or this season West Ham or Dem Blades

Somewhere I've wanted to visit for ages,a proper football club with proper fans, regardless of the American money
