Training Boxing vs. Learning to Box

There's a big difference between doing boxing training, and actually learning to box. 🔴⚪️⚫️

Training boxing looks like: turning up, hitting pads, doing rounds on the bag, getting a good sweat on, going home tired.

Learning to box looks like: understanding why your feet are positioned a certain way, why your power comes from the floor and not your arm, why your hand returns exactly where it left from — every single rep, built in the right order, at the right pace.
One gets you fit. The other builds a fighter.

Real boxing development isn't measured by how tired the session made you — it's measured by whether your mechanics hold up when it matters: under pressure, under fatigue, in sparring, in a fight.

Skipping the "learning" phase to jump straight to "training" is the single biggest reason beginners plateau, get frustrated, or pick up bad habits that take years to undo.
Get tired doing something correctly — not something quickly.

​CHAMPIONS PURSUIT: ROAD TO GLORY takes over Rochester tomorrow, and every punch thrown is in support of brave little Lenny.

​Unfortunately, Lenny is still in the hospital receiving care, meaning his family won't be able to join us in person tomorrow. While they focus on Lenny’s fight, we need our community to turn up, pack the venue, and show them they are never alone in this battle.
