Springfield Park Junior Football Club We are a 2 star FA accredited football club based in Rochdale with pitches at Springfield Park and Queens Park. We currently have teams from u6s up to u21s.

Training takes place at Springfield Park and Matthew Moss high school. We currently have several age groups from U6 to U18 and are always looking for new players of any ability. ⚡ Goals Goals Goals for Cyclone last Sunday ⚽

What a performance from the Cyclone U10s! The team put in a dominant display from start to finish, showing great energy, teamwork and attacking football against Oldham U11s.

Spencer was in sensational form, producing a masterclass and scoring 5 goals.

Ryan also made a huge contribution with 2 goals, while Izzy, George and Zac all got themselves on the scoresheet.

A fantastic all-round team performance, with everyone playing their part and showing the quality, determination and togetherness that makes this Cyclone team so special.

We’re collecting prizes for our fundraiser on 21st November at Middleton Cricket Club, with all money raised helping Cold Hands Warm Hearts support people through winter.

Avalanche were back in action this morning, facing an attacking outfit.

It was a difficult first half as we struggled to find our rhythm and gave ourselves plenty to do going into the break.

The second half was a completely different story. The players showed much more energy, determination and togetherness, playing some really good football and battling hard to get back into the game.

There were some excellent individual performances too, with Arlo and Isabella standing out for their efforts throughout the game. 👏

Despite the result, there were plenty of positives to take from the second half, especially the attitude, effort and character shown by the players.

Thunder 0-1 Bury FC

Bit of a stalemate game with the opposition kept to long shots. We had our chances either via the pace of Henry or some great corners from Lucas L, top marks for your PotM nominations.

The lads had to dig in with no subs, just one of those days. Given the amount of shirt tugging and pushing the boys were taking - to lose to a penalty left us with a bit of an unfair result but no harm done as we get ready for the league in 2 weeks.

Our u11 Tsunami enjoying a lovely tasty apple after training this evening - courtesy of JAZZ Apple! 🍎

The JAZZ Apple Foundation actively supports grassroots football clubs by providing small, targeted monetary grants, usually up to £500 - to help community teams overcome financial barriers and keep young players active.

By providing these quick-access bursaries, the foundation helps grassroots clubs focus less on fundraising and more on delivering safe, fun, and healthy environments for young footballers.

Our Sandstorm boys enjoyed a juicy JAZZ Apple or two after training this evening!

Even the parents got their hands on some, with one parent stating “Omg these are the best apples ive tasted.”

Thank you again for your generosity, the work the JAZZ Apple Foundation do really is incredible! Please give them a follow and take a look at what they do!

We will be donating the remaining apples to a local nursery - Squirrels Day Nursery Middleton, for them to share with their children/parents!

Positives to take again for Tornado in another tough match this morning!

The togetherness throughout the team is fantastic to see and the fact they still come away smiling week after week is brilliant!

Players of the match today were Elijah who was a rock in defence, he threw himself infront of everything for his team today!

Our second player of the match, todays Captain, Eli! Captains performance, led by example and even jumped into net to help his mates today!

A slow start to this morning’s game for Hailstorm and a couple of mistakes cost us two goals in the first half, before Zak converted a penalty to give us some hope going into the break.

It was a similar story in the second half, with a couple of lapses in concentration costing us again before Lawson grabbed our second goal.

Supporters’ Player of the Match went to Zak, with Harry picking up the Manager’s Player of the Match.

The lads never give up and will keep working hard and going right until the end.
