✨ From Show Ring to Showpiece! 🐴🏆 ✨

I absolutely love being set new challenges, and this one certainly was one! 😍🧵

This bespoke cushion has been created from an actual fleece rug, celebrating an incredible achievement — being a Finalist at Stars Champion of Champions 2024. ⭐🏆

The challenge was to take something originally made to be worn by a horse and transform it into a beautiful keepsake that could be treasured forever — and I’m so pleased with how it’s turned out! ❤️

Every detail has been hand stitched, including the intricate gold ropework and decorative details. There were definitely moments where I wondered what I had taken on 😂, but I love pushing myself to try something different and seeing whether I can turn an idea into reality.

A few of my recent memorial frame orders have now been completed and are ready to head to their new homes. 🤍🐴

Each one is individually handcrafted using your horse's own mane or tail hair, carefully hand-braided to create a truly personal keepsake. No two are ever the same, making every frame as unique as the horse it represents.

It is such a privilege to be trusted with something so precious, and I take great care with every strand of hair that is sent to me.

I've been a little quiet on here recently, but that's only because I've been incredibly busy behind the scenes creating keepsakes for some truly wonderful customers. ❤️

🤍 The value of handmade isn't measured by the cost of the materials alone. 🤍

I've seen a few discussions recently about the cost of handmade items, and it made me reflect.

The truth is, I shouldn't have to justify the price of my work.

As the saying goes:

🦁 "A lion never has to tell you it's a lion."

The value of handmade craftsmanship lies in the skill, experience, time and passion behind it.

Every keepsake I create involves:

• Hours of designing, casting, curing, sanding and polishing by hand
• Specialist materials and consumables
• Expensive equipment and ongoing maintenance
• Electricity and workshop costs
• Packaging and presentation materials
• Business overheads, insurance and platform fees
• Years of learning and perfecting my craft
• The responsibility of working with irreplaceable sentimental memories

What many people don't see is the time spent sourcing quality materials at the best possible prices so that I can keep my own prices affordable.

I've always believed that memorial keepsakes should be accessible to as many people as possible. That belief is one of the reasons I started this business, and I continue to work hard to keep my prices fair despite the ever-increasing cost of materials and running a small business.

When comparing my work with many other bespoke keepsake makers, you'll often find that my prices are significantly lower. That isn't because my work is worth less—it's because I've consciously chosen to keep my pricing as affordable as I reasonably can while still producing high-quality handmade pieces.

Every keepsake I create is made with care, patience and respect for the memories it represents.

So when you support a small handmade business, you're not simply buying a product—you're investing in someone's time, skill, experience and passion.

And for that, I'll always be incredibly grateful. 🤍

Losing a beloved pet leaves a space in our hearts that can never be filled. That's why I create personalised memorial keepsakes designed to celebrate the unconditional love and memories they leave behind.

This special Tree of Life memorial frame was lovingly handcrafted for a customer's mum after the loss of her precious dog.

✨ The Tree of Life is uniquely made using black and tan materials entwined together, symbolising the bond that can never be broken, and is finished with jade green gemstone chips, representing love, healing and everlasting memories.

Each frame can be personalised with:

❤️🐴 A recent special commission completed 🐴❤️

I recently had the privilege of creating this beautiful keepsake collection using hair from a much-loved horse, including a framed horseshoe Tree of Life and matching horse hair bracelets.

What made this commission even more special was that it was created as a surprise gift, with members of the livery yard coming together to arrange a collection for the recipient. It was such a thoughtful gesture and a wonderful way to celebrate the bond between horse and owner.

Every piece was handcrafted with care to create lasting memories and a unique tribute to a very special horse. The Tree of Life symbolises strength, connection and the incredible bond we share with our horses, making it a meaningful keepsake to treasure for years to come.

Creating pieces like these is always an honour. Thank you to everyone involved for trusting me with such precious memories. 💕
