Ripley Town Council would like to wish the very best of luck to two teenagers from within our community who are heading off this week to represent the England U15 Girls at the W.I.C.F. - World Indoor Cricket Federation Tournament in South Africa! 🇿🇦

Kyrie known as Kiz to her teammates, who plays for South Wingfield Cricket Club, and attends The Ripley Academy said she was excited to represent England, but also girls cricket. 🏏

Hannah, who plays for Butterley United CC and attends John Flamsteed Community School said that she was honoured to be once again asked to represent the country and was looking forward to getting out to South Africa.

We were delighted to see both girls pop into the Town Hall last week so we could wish them the best of luck. ❤️

Outdoor season may be over but our very own Hannah Reast is packing her bags this weekend as she heads to South Africa to represent England U15 Girls in the upcoming Junior World Series in Pretoria 🇿🇦

This follows on from her trip to Bengaluru, India last year when Hannah was part of the England U17 Girls team at the Emerging Players Tournament, returning as a champion 🏆🥇🇮🇳

Everyone at Butterley wish you and your team well for the upcoming tournament.

BUCC end of season celebrations started over the weekend 🥳
Following our last games of the season on Saturday, the obligatory jugs and dodgy shirt night started the weekend celebrations.
Following today was our Club Day with fancy dress T20 competition where the juniors took on parents and coaches 🏆
Ending the day with our Junior Presentation and celebrating the future of the club.

An amazing weekend, seeing everyone at the ground celebrating.

Thank you to all the amazing people that make this club what it is. Without you, weekends like this simply wouldn’t happen.

On 6th September, we hosted a Super 1s festival at Butterley United CC

We were joined by 4 teams from around the Midlands for a lovely day of softball matches.

Thank you to Steve and his helpers from Staffordshire, and Dean from Warwickshire, for their support on the day, and as always, thank you to Butterley United for hosting us🫶
