You can train 3 times a week and still be surprisingly inactive.

That sounds contradictory, but hereโ€™s why.

A workout might give you 45 minutes of exercise.

Your daily steps tell us much more about what youโ€™re doing during the other 15 waking hours.

And that matters.

More daily movement means youโ€™re:

โœ… Burning more energy across the week
โœ… Spending less time completely sedentary
โœ… Getting more regular blood flow around the body
โœ… Using your muscles and joints more frequently
โœ… Helping your body manage blood sugar after meals
โœ… Building the basic work capacity that makes everyday life easier

This is why we care about steps at 3 Sixty.

Not because 10,000 is some magical number.

Because someone going from 3,000 steps a day to 6,000 or 7,000 has effectively added thousands of extra little bouts of movement every single day.

Do that across a week.
Then a month.
Then a year.

That adds up to an enormous difference.

Your gym sessions build strength and fitness.
Your daily movement supports what happens during all the hours between them.

So donโ€™t just ask:
โ€œDid I train today?โ€

Also ask:
โ€œHow much did I move today?โ€

What does your current daily step average look like? ๐Ÿ‘‡

Iโ€™ve spent far too much time playing around with AI to make thisโ€ฆ so youโ€™re watching it ๐Ÿ˜‚

But genuinely, I think itโ€™s a pretty cool way of showing whatโ€™s actually happening when you train.

You donโ€™t build muscle just because you turned up and did a hard session.
Training gives your body a reason to adapt.
Protein gives it the building blocks.
Recovery gives it the chance to actually do the work.
Then you keep repeating that process over time.
Thatโ€™s the bit people usually miss.
Youโ€™re not trying to smash yourself in one workout.

Youโ€™re trying to give your body a good enough reason to get strongerโ€ฆ then keep doing it consistently.

Anyway, meet Musc ๐Ÿ’ช
What should I get him to explain next?
Fat loss, protein, recovery or progressive overload?

**WEโ€™VE HIT CAPACITY.**

So for now, weโ€™re closing our doors to new starters.

Not because weโ€™ve run out of room.

Because weโ€™ve reached the number of people we can coach **without compromising the standard of the service.**

Thereโ€™s an important difference.

We could keep taking memberships.

We could make sessions busier.

We could ask our coaches to spread their attention across more people.

Financially, that would probably make sense.

**For our members, it wouldnโ€™t.**

3 Sixty was built around coaching people properly.

Knowing who is in front of us.

Knowing their injuries, limitations, goals and training history.

Watching how they move.

Adjusting when something isnโ€™t right.

Progressing them when theyโ€™re ready.

And making sure nobody simply disappears into the room.

That becomes harder the more people you add.

So weโ€™re drawing the line.

**We would rather have a waiting list than lower the quality of what our members receive.**

The spaces currently available are being reserved for people already going through our trial process.

We expect a small number of places to become available again around **mid-September**.

When they do, weโ€™ll offer them to the waiting list first.

So if youโ€™ve been thinking about joining us, you donโ€™t need to wait until September.

Message us **โ€œWAITING LISTโ€** and weโ€™ll have a conversation now to see if 3 Sixty is the right fit for you.

Because our goal has never been to have the most

โ€œI hate gyms.โ€

Honestly? We hear it all the time.

And usually, itโ€™s not training people hate.

Itโ€™s walking into a room feeling completely out of place.
Not knowing what to do.
Feeling like everyone else belongs there except you.

Thatโ€™s exactly why we created 3 Sixty differently.

You wonโ€™t be left wandering around trying to figure it out alone. Weโ€™ll get to know you, teach you what youโ€™re doing and explain why youโ€™re doing it.

Because the goal isnโ€™t just to make you fitter.

Itโ€™s to help you feel confident, energetic, capable and maybe even start enjoying training.

If traditional gyms arenโ€™t for you, you might feel differently about this one.

Comment **READY** and weโ€™ll send you the details.

Paul probably sums this up better than I could.

Starting somewhere new is nerve-racking, especially if gyms have never really felt like your thing.

His advice?

Just get through the door.

Come in, have a chat, tell us where youโ€™re at and what you want help with.

You donโ€™t need to be fit already and you donโ€™t need to know what youโ€™re doing.

Thatโ€™s our job.

Paulโ€™s been with us since 2022 and normal gyms werenโ€™t for him either.

Now 3 Sixty is just part of his life.

So if nerves are the thing holding you back, maybe just take that first step and come and see what weโ€™re about.

Recap of our 3SIXTY sports day 2026 ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป incredible effort from everybody ๐Ÿ‘

16/08/2026

Today our fantastic coach Jay completed a half marathon in an incredible time of 1 hour 47 minutes โค๏ธ

But this post is about so much more than his finishing time.

Jay ran wearing a T-shirt dedicated to โ€œMy Fightersโ€, his sister Laura, who is currently fighting breast cancer and his niece Bella, who has a tracheostomy.

Two incredibly strong people who despite everything they face remain so positive and bring so much light to the people around them.

And that tells you everything you need to know about Jay too.

He has so much going on in his own life, yet he walks into 3 Sixty every day and still makes space for everybody else.

He listens to our members, takes on their worries and always shows them genuine empathy, patience and kindness.

You would never know what he was carrying himself because he is always thinking about somebody else.

Jay started with us when he was just 17. We have watched him grow into the coach and the man he is today and he has become far more than a member of staff.

He is a huge part of 3 Sixty and always will be.

I think we can all agree that he is a truly admirable person and today we just want to give him the recognition he deserves.

Jay, we are incredibly proud of you not only for what you achieved today but for the person you are every single day.

We are so lucky and proud to have you as part of our team โค๏ธ

Please show Jay some love in the comments. He deserves every bit of it ๐Ÿ‘

A message from our co-owner, Cheryl โค๏ธ

"I wanted to share this because I know more than most how easy it is to become obsessed with the number on the scales"

You lose weight, you want it to go lower. Then lower again. And before you know it, that number becomes the only thing you are judging your progress by.

But these two photos are a reminder that progress is about so much more than weighing less.

For me, tracking progress can be a little more complex because I have lipoedema. That means I carry abnormal lipoedema-affected fat and can experience inflammation, so my own body composition results always need to be looked at with that context in mind.

Our InBody scanner is incredibly valuable because it gives us far more information than normal scales, including body fat, skeletal muscle mass, body water, visceral fat and overall body composition.

But with my condition, I also know that no machine can look at my body fat and tell me which part is specifically affected by lipoedema.

That is why I never judge my progress by one number alone.

I look at:

๐Ÿ“ธ My photos
๐Ÿ“ My measurements
๐Ÿ‘– How my clothes fit
๐Ÿ’ช My strength
๐Ÿƒ My fitness
โค๏ธ How I feel
๐Ÿ“Š And my InBody results over time

And honestly, these photos tell me far more than chasing another number down on the scales ever could.

The goal is not just to be lighter.

So please, take the photos.

Even when you hate them.
Even when you think nothing is changing.
Even when the scales make you feel like you are not doing enough.

Because sometimes you need to see yourself side by side to realise just how much your body has actually changed. โค๏ธ

THE FAT YOU CANโ€™T SEE ๐Ÿ‘€

Last week we talked about why the scales do not tell the full story.

One of the reasons is visceral fat.

Most people think of body fat as the fat they can see or pinch beneath the skin. That is called subcutaneous fat.

Visceral fat is different.

It sits deeper inside the abdomen around organs such as the liver, stomach, intestines and pancreas.

And importantly, visceral fat itself is not bad. We all need SOME.
The concern is when we carry too much.

Higher levels of visceral fat are associated with:

โค๏ธ Increased cardiovascular risk
๐Ÿฉธ Insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes
๐Ÿงก Fatty liver disease
๐Ÿ”ฅ Increased inflammation
๐Ÿฉบ Poorer metabolic health

And here is the important bit...

Someone can look relatively slim and still carry higher levels of visceral fat.

This is another reason why simply chasing a lower number on the scales does not tell us enough about your health.

At 3 Sixty, our InBody scanner helps us look beyond body weight at things such as:

๐Ÿ’ช Skeletal muscle
๐Ÿ’ง Body water
๐Ÿ“Š Body fat
โค๏ธ Visceral Fat Level

It gives us another piece of the puzzle, alongside your photos, measurements, strength, fitness and how you feel.

The good news?

Visceral fat responds really well to lifestyle change.

๐Ÿ‹๏ธ Strength training
๐Ÿšถ Regular movement
โค๏ธ Cardiovascular exercise
๐Ÿฅ— Good nutrition
๐Ÿ˜ด Quality sleep
๐Ÿท Managing alcohol intake

And this is why our goal should never simply be:

โ€œI want to weigh less.โ€

A much better goal is:

I want a healthier body composition.

More strength.
More muscle.
Better fitness.
Less excess body fat.
Better metabolic health.

The scales tell us what you weigh.
They do not tell us the whole story.

Stop chasing lighter. Start chasing healthier. โค๏ธ
