How is everyone fixed for Sunday 13th September for the open day fund raiser?

I would like to think this is true but I have been bombarded with emails about this event for weeks now and the emails ask me to buy tickets for the event, the tickets are expensive. What I don't understand is the implication that if I don't buy tickets we won't be eligible to win...

Here's a little update on money raised so far for the brave firefighters who worked so hard with others on the wildfires.
We are still looking for people to help make the open day amazing here is a few of the things that could help.

St John's ambulance have volunteered to be present on the day.
Throughout the day I will be doing a show and tell with some of my birds of prey.

Will add more as it comes together.

As a small token of thanks to the brave firefighters attending the wild fires, valley view falconry will be holding an open day, we would like to raise enough so the rhayader crew at least could maybe have a meal and a drink.
These people go above and beyond and I am led to believe most are unpaid volunteers.

This was a truly amazing experience and the highlight of my Wales holiday.

Tim’s passion, knowledge and humour made the session feel personal rather than like a scripted tick-box exercise. His genuine love for the birds really came through, and I learned lots of interesting things, even though I have been to quite a few similar experiences before.

The birds were absolutely stunning. I especially loved handling the Harris’s hawk, which Tim kindly let me do twice. Harris’s hawks are particularly special to me, so that meant a lot. Seeing the barn owl up close also took me right back to the first time I ever saw one as a child, when it turned its head to look at me and gave me that moment of pure awe.

Tim also very kindly brought me feathers from some of the birds, which I have added to my collection at home. That was a lovely personal touch and something I really appreciated.

My family all enjoyed the experience too, even those who did not handle the birds themselves. If you are interested in birds of prey, I would strongly recommend Valley View Falconry. It was fascinating, funny, genuine, and has created lasting memories for me and my family
