Stithians Lake in Cornwall is one of the windiest inland waters in England. So, it's not surprising that it is a favourite with windsurfers and sailors alike! We provide tuition, launch and hire for windsurfing, sailing, kayaking and stand up paddle boarding. New for 2021 we will be offering wingsurf and wingfoiling tuition. Stithians Watersports Centre is an RYA Recognised training centre so you can be assured the windsurfing and sailing equipment and tuition are of a high standard. There is a campsite on site with great views out over the lake. Why not extend your stay and make the most of the activities available on site. Whether you are interested in watersports or simply wish to enjoy the views and wildlife whilst exploring the lake, there is something for everyone at Stithians. Company Overview
Stithians Lakes is managed by South West Lakes, the region’s largest combined environmental and recreational charity. Its inland water sites, spread across Devon, Cornwall, Dorset and West Somerset, attract in the region of 2m visits annually. Mission
The charity aims to provide education to the public about flora, fauna, ecology and the conservation of the vulnerable ecosystems that surround the lakes. Providing access to people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities is a priority throughout our programs and activities.
