πŸ₯Š REDCAR AMATEUR BOXING CLUB, SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITY πŸ₯Š

We’re looking for local businesses and people in our community who want to help make a difference.

There’s a lot of talk on social media about how Redcar is changing, the problems with young people and what needs to be done. People are quick to complain and point the finger, but real change doesn’t come from complaining, it comes from people coming together and taking action.
We’re trying to do our bit.

Redcar ABC has been part of the community for over 25 years, giving young people a safe place to train, positive role models, discipline, confidence and something to work towards.

With the issues we’re seeing locally around crime and antisocial behaviour, we believe sport can play a huge part in keeping young people active, focused and away from trouble.
Our boxers also travel all over the country to compete, and sponsorship would help with travel, competition expenses, equipment and creating more opportunities for our members.
If local businesses get behind us, we can offer promotion through our social media, club clothing, gym advertising and boxing events.

We can't change the whole area on our own.
But if more of us stop complaining and start supporting the organisations already doing the work, together we can make Redcar a safer, stronger place for the next generation.
If your business would like to support Redcar ABC, drop us a message and let’s have a chat.
Support grassroots boxing.

Support our young people. Support the future of Redcar. πŸ₯Š

There are so many opportunities for young people across Redcar & Cleveland to get involved in sport. πŸ₯Šβš½πŸ‰πŸ€πŸŠβ€β™‚️

These are just the boxing clubs available across the area, they missed out Priory ABC in Guisborough and Grangetown Amateur boxing club.

Sport can give young people so much: discipline, confidence, friendships, structure, something to work towards and, most importantly, a place where they feel they belong.

But in my experience, getting involved is only the first step.

There will always be days when a young person doesn't want to go. They’d rather stay at home or do something else. This is where parents play a huge role. Encouraging them (in some cases forcing them) to keep turning up and teaching them that commitment means sticking with something even when you don't feel like it.

You don't have to be the best. You don't even have to love every session. But you do have to keep showing up.
Give them the opportunity. Find something they enjoy. Then help them stick with it.
There are plenty of positive places for our young people to belong. Help them find something they’re passionate aboutπŸ₯Š

πŸ₯Š HELP US PROTECT THE NEXT GENERATION πŸ₯Š

We are seeing far too much tragedy, anti-social behaviour and gang violence in our communities.

As parents, guides and role models, we are seeing a generation of young people who are struggling and, all too often, being tempted towards risk, crime and worse.

It is our job to protect them.

We have to be more demanding about how our young people spend their time β€” even when we face resistance and pushback.

I don't buy into the idea that society is failing our young people because there is β€œnothing to do”.

THERE IS PLENTY ON OFFER.

We just need to encourage our youngsters to get involved.

Boxing has always carried a stigma in some circles, but there is no denying the huge benefits the sport can bring to young people and communities.

πŸ₯Š Boxing can help to:

β€’ Reduce anti-social behaviour among those who take up the sport
β€’ Reduce involvement in violence and crime
β€’ Build confidence, discipline and resilience
β€’ Teach responsibility and self-control
β€’ Develop respect β€” both for themselves and for others
β€’ Give young people structure, purpose and positive role models

Help our youngsters. Get them involved. Let's not lose the next generation.

There are so many boxing clubs and community organisations doing incredible work β€” often for nothing more than the love of the sport and the desire to make a difference.
Support the clubs that want to make a difference.

Give them the opportunity to guide, challenge and help shape your young people into confident, respectful and disciplined adults.

You are not alone.

Let's work together to protect our young people and give them something positive to belong to. πŸ₯Š

πŸ₯Š 2026/27 season is almost upon us.
Don’t leave your success to chance. Make your own luck.

Competition Group has 5 training sessions available every week to give you the best possible opportunity to prepare and have a successful season.

Remember, your opponents will be training just as hard. Think about whats going to separates you from the rest?
Turning up, following the running programme and making weight isn’t going above and beyond, that’s the minimum.
The difference is what you do when nobody is watching.

Turn up. Put the work in. Make yourself hard to beat. πŸ₯Š
