Phoenix Snooker League

A snooker league that runs on Tuesday evenings at The Crucible, Richfield Avenue, Reading, Berkshire The league lasts for 48 weeks.

The league runs a handicap system to give players of all standards the opportunity to compete. Players play each other 3 times and there are 3 games that are played on position night, where you play whoever is near you in the league. Table fees of £5 per night is payable, as is a £3 subs fee. This goes towards the prize money of over £3000.00. There is also a Knockout Cup and Plate Trophy. Highest break and Most Improved Player awards are given too.

So due to not everyone getting back to me, we can't start tonight. The tables are booked, so if you want 1 let me know. Those who don't want to come down for a knock let me know. I still need to hear from 2 people, Paul Rydzek and Tony Hothi. We can hopefully start on 31st August then.

Well people we are able to start again!!🥳🥳
I have spoken to the club and we can start on the 17th August.
The club is closed on the 24th for the festival. But we can continue on after that.
If anyone is not wanting to carry on please let me know, we have some reserves, so we can continue with the 12.

Hello people, just a suggestion, but who would be interested in completing the Knockout Cup.
There are 6 games to play, then the the knockout rounds.
Matches can be arranged separately between the players.
It doesn't look as though we can start the league for a long while yet, but at least this way we can get some games in.
