Meet the team!

Shirley, Alla, Stefan, Lauren, Dawn.

And Britt, we need a new team photo 😆

They know your name. Your bad knee, your dodgy shoulder, your goals, why your started and what you struggle with

This is guidance that's built around you, not a generic plan everyone gets.

Accountability from someone who'll text you if you go quiet. And a room full of women who'll know your story too, not just your name.

Personalisation that pushes you and rewards you, without being forced.

Feeling supported and seen, gives you the confidence to get outside your comfort zone, the motivation to get started, the structure to keep going.

There's a difference between an injury that needs rest and an injury that's just never been properly worked with.

Most women assume theirs is the first kind. Often it's the second.

Every session here starts with what you're actually working with, not a generic programme you're expected to keep up with regardless.

If you've been managing an old injury alone for years, that's long enough.

The fear of making your niggles worse, is often whats stopping you from trying the exercises that will make it better.

"Just rest it and it'll settle down."

If that actually worked, half of Woodley wouldn't still have the same bad back they had five years ago.

Rest calms things down for a bit. It doesn't build anything back up.

The muscles around that knee, that shoulder, that lower back, stay exactly as weak as they were before you stopped moving.

Here's the bit nobody tells you. The ache you feel on the stairs isn't a sign to avoid the stairs forever. It's a sign that something around that joint needs to get stronger, safely, with someone watching how you move.

That's the whole point of coaching. Every session starts with what your body can do right now, injuries and all, and builds from there.

You don't need to wait until it "feels better" to start.

You need someone to show you how to move properly with it.

Tell us what's been holding you back and we'll take it from there.

Petra had tried personal training, gyms and bootcamps before. More than once. It never stuck.

Every time, it felt competitive.

Someone comparing lift numbers, someone chasing the best time in the room. She wasn't trying to beat anyone.

She just wanted somewhere to get stronger without it turning into a contest.

Seven months since she joined us, she's a stone and a half lighter, noticeably stronger, particularly in her arms, and she's still going.

Not because this time she found more willpower. Because this time nobody was keeping score.

She told us it's not about losing weight, it's about feeling good, and doing it together rather than against each other.

If competitive gyms have put you off before, that's not a reason to assume exercise isn't for you.

It might just mean you haven't found the right room yet.

Message us and we'll show you round.

Worried an injury is holding you back?

A bad back, dodgy knees, an old injury, these get treated like a locked door.

Something to wait out before you're "ready" to train.

But untrained muscles around an old injury don't get safer with time, they get stiffer and weaker.

Remya told us she was nervous starting out, but there was always someone there to help if something felt off, not a gym floor where you're left to work it out alone with equipment you don't know how to use.

If a health worry has been the quiet reason you haven't started, that's exactly the conversation worth having with us, not a reason to wait longer.

Sally told me last week she's finally found a type of exercise she actually enjoys.

Not "I hit a new PB." Not "I've lost weight."

Just: she enjoys it.

After years of memberships that gathered dust and classes she dreaded, that's the win that matters.

I've said this before and I'll keep saying it.

Environment beats programming. You can hand someone the perfect plan on paper, but if she dreads walking through the door, she won't do it long enough for any of it to count.

What she talked about wasn't the exercises.

It was the pace.

Weights building up steadily, never rushed into something before she was ready. And the room itself, everyone rooting for each other rather than sizing each other up.

That's not luck. That's what we build for on purpose.

Fitter is one outcome. Feeling comfortable in your own clothes again, looking forward to a session instead of dreading it, that's the bit that actually sticks.

If you've ever joined somewhere and stopped within a month, it probably wasn't a motivation problem. It was probably the wrong room.

You don't find time. You make it.

Nobody "finds time" for the school run. It's in the diary. Fixed. Non-negotiable.

You just go, because the alternative isn't an option.

Your own health gets treated completely differently. It sits in the "if I get a spare hour" pile. And spare hours don't exist. They never have.

The fitness industry loves to tell you this is a discipline problem. Try harder. Want it more. Find your motivation.

The real issue is nobody ever showed you how to make it non-negotiable.

That's not a willpower problem. That's a structure problem.

And structure is fixable.

You don't need more motivation.

You need to learn how to make it a non negotiable.

While it's still your choice to make

One of our members told us she almost didn't come in.

A friend had recommended us and she nearly talked herself out of the first session anyway.

Shirley made her feel comfortable within minutes.

Then Stefan spent that first session giving her the confidence to push a bit further than she thought she could, and she said his encouragement and knowledge were what made her want to keep coming back.

She's since told her own friends to do the same.

That's what happens when someone actually watches your technique instead of just shouting at you.

If you're the friend who keeps meaning to ask what this place is like, this is your answer.

There's a myth that goes round every summer.

The idea that you need calm before you can start looking after yourself.

By waiting for things to "calm down" you're admitting that whenever life gets busy or difficult, you're going to give up again.

Because if you can't start when things are busy, how are you going to keep going when things are busy?

Here's the truth.

Calm doesn't arrive.

Not in September, not in January, not ever, because life fills whatever space you give it.

The women who actually stick with this didn't wait for a quiet patch.

They started in the middle of the mess and let training be the one hour that stayed the same while everything else was chaos.

You don't wait untill you have the time to book in.

The act of booking in is the thing that gets you to make the time.

If you never commit, you'll never do it.

Most classes put you in a room with twenty people and a mirror.

You never really get seen.

Here it's the opposite.

Small groups mean the person next to you actually knows your name, and so does your coach.

That's not accidental, it's the whole point.

You show up, someone's watching your form, and the woman next to you is going through the same thing you are.

That's usually the bit people don't expect, how much easier it is to keep coming back when you're not doing it alone.

If training on your own has never stuck, this is why.

Come try a session and see what training with people actually feels like.
