This is why Matt and I give up our weekends for these kids.

Seeing Laura achieve results like this makes every hour worthwhile. Behind the scenes, Matt and I often spend evenings talking about what more we can do to help them succeed, not just in martial arts, but in life.

We had a lovely message from Laura’s mum thanking us for everything we do, and it meant a lot.

Laura is a great kid, and when she graduates from university, Matt and I will gladly open our black book of contacts to help her start a great career.

That’s what coaching is about, helping them win on the mat and in life. ❤️

While we have two teams competing internationally, Kacper has been representing Nemesis here in the UK at a National Karate competition — winning TWO GOLDS in both Kata and Kumite! 🥇🥇

A huge well done to Sensei Matt on receiving this very well-deserved recognition for his invaluable contribution to the WMAC England Team and to international competition.

Back home, Matt is the Nemesis Fight Coach, working tirelessly to get our fighters prepared, entered into competitions and attending the right seminars to continue developing.

He has some fantastic plans already taking shape for the 2027 competition season, and we are incredibly proud to have him leading our fight team.

Congratulations Sensei Matt, thoroughly deserved. 👊🥋🏆

🥇🥇 DOUBLE WORLD CHAMPION AT JUST 9 YEARS OLD!

Huge congratulations to our incredible Sophie, who is now a Double World Champion — and she still has two more tatami to fight on today, 20 September!

Nine years old. Two world titles. Still fighting.
