Well, it was the river Blackwater, swim against the current at The New Mill, Eversley! Very refreshing.

Going for a dip at TVP tonight 8.45 with the dog (not a proper swim). From the beach downstream of Wokingham Waterside Centre
Went for a dip in Finger Lake, off Well House Lane (Bramshill) today - very shallow and therefore warm! Even my dog went in (his first time). Very beautiful here, would be a great place for a campfire

Location in Bramshill. Lots of lakes there, even found the perfect lake for a full-moon, Halloween dip!

Found a couple of lakes in Bramshill, must swim from this beach! Also the river Blackwater at The New Mill, Lower Common (Eversley).
Wild swim TVP to Sonning long overdue... no open water swimming club in Reading, bizarrely. West Berkshire or Henley. Anyone?
Thinking of a swim tonight, TVP downstream.

Sunday with West Berkshire OWS at Basildon beach. 2k, no wetsuit required but they swim all year...
