Thatcham Tornadoes Football Club is a Charter Standard Development Club providing football for boys and girls aged 6 to 18 in Thatcham and the surrounding area. We also have a Mens Team who are very committed on the pitch but also very social. Albie has had an exceptional season, demonstrating an outstanding ability in goal. He has excelled in goal and has been very brave with his sharp reflexes to make many match winning saves.
He has worked hard not only in goal but also on pitch, dribbling down the wing and providing some fantastic crosses along with a few goals.

U11 Girls Lionesses Tornado of the Year is Betsy!
Betsy has had an outstanding season, forming a formidable partnership alongside her fellow defenders.
Her positive attitude and eagerness to learn have helped build a strong sense of self-belief and confidence in her game throughout the year.

Huge congratulations to Santiago - U13 Jaguars Tornado of the Year
Absolutely fantastic season playing in central defence. Has marked many excellent strikers out of the games. Always puts in 110% effort, never complains does his job quietly but brilliantly. Never misses training or matches. He is protective of his team mates - a true gentleman of the game.

Many congratulations to Oscar for picking up the Tornadoes of the Year award for U10 Lions.
Oscar puts 100% effort into every training session and game and his determination & desire to do all he can shows through each week.
As a winger, he has picked up the golden boot for the fourth year in a row but he is always looking to assist and give his team mates goals whenever he can. Running up and down the pitch each week and he never stops.
Oscar is surrounded by a great team with and so many were in with a shout of being Tornado of the Year this year, so well done Oscar showing what a tornado is all about!

Zach has been one of our standout players of the last two seasons but this season he has just broken the mould of what a player of his age represents. He is polite, well mannered, very respectful of all of his peers and coaches.
He has become somewhat of a "silent assassin" when out on the pitch - he is a menace for any opposition as he nips in around the team and steals the ball away and gets straight on the attack then will always track back and help defend.
All of our parents and the opposition players/coaches alike speak incredibly highly of Zach each week.

Sebastian has had a fantastic season and has demonstrated great versatility and performed brilliantly across a variety of positions.
His passing and link-up play has been excellent. He has created opportunities and scored goals, along with some fantastic goalkeeping.
He has been a great all round player, works hard for the team and always gives his best.

🏆 Tornadoes U14 Jaguars – TOTY 🏆
Jack was the unanimous choice of all three coaches for this season’s Tornado of the Year award.
His work rate has set the standard for the team all season and has been a huge factor in us winning the league title.
Despite only joining the squad this season, Jack’s never-give-up attitude, commitment and willingness to play wherever the team needs him have been outstanding. Whether in defence, midfield or attack, he’s excelled in every position he’s been asked to play.
A thoroughly deserved award.
