Saracens Argentina Tour 2011

Great to link up our friend Santi from Argentina 2011 with his fellow countryman Marcelo Bosch at Saracen's training ground a couple of weeks ago!

Argentina tourists Jake Deith, Michael Donovan, Harry Kelly, James Bullmore and Alex Douglas still together 5 years on preparing for the new season at Saracens.

Five years ago today we arrived in Buenos Aires for the start of our brilliant Argentina Tour. Great memories!

This season, as university and college courses come to an end, we hope to see even more of the tour party back at Bramley Road playing for the senior sides.

If you hadn’t noticed it’s an all Southern Hemisphere Semi-Finals in the World Cup!

All the World Cup games are being shown live in the Saracens Clubhouse at Bramley Road on the new big, BIG screens including Argentina v Australia on Sunday.

It would be great to have as many ‘Argentina tourists and supporters’ there to watch the game as possible.

A chance for us all to wear our Argentina shirts!

The bar and kitchen will both be open.

Some of the Argentina 2011 Tour supporters reunited at the Saracens Amateur RFC Summer Ball. Next year it's the 5th anniversary of a memorable tour, let's see if we can all get together!

It is exactly one year ago today that we landed in Buenos Aires for our Argentina tour! What great memories! And tonight to mark the occasion a massive party is being held in a stadium in East London!

The Argentina Tour Squad got back together for the Saracens 10s Reunited Festival on 29th April 2012. In atrocious weather conditions they were unbeaten in their pool games and went on to beat the pre event favourites in their semi-final. They lost 12-10 in a close and exciting final! Well done to all that took part!

Martyn Taylor and Stuart Poll, from our main tour sponsor 'Lightning Packaging', visited the club today where they were presented with a framed tour shirt by a group of the Saracens Argentina Tour party.

It was an opportunity for the players to thank Lightning Packaging for the support that they gave the tour and chat to Martyn and Stuart about their touring experiences.

A very HAPPY CHRISTMAS to all our Argentinian friends! We all end 2011 with great memories of our tour to your wonderful country. Thank you for making us so welcome! We hope that you have a great Christmas and that 2012 is succesful for all of you, both on and off the rugby pitch.
