Sonning Golf Club is over 100 years old and has an impressive pedigree. One of the ‘Great Triumvirate’ and a 5 time Open champion, JH Taylor, designed the original layout with later input from Harry Colt. Colt, of course, was responsible for some of the greatest courses around the world including Wentworth, Royal St Georges and Royal Melbourne and his influence very much remains at Sonning today.
